And, unbelievably, it has pedals.
That's right: the crackpot French inventor has built himself a bike that he's equipped with a rocket engine - and he took it to the iconic Paul Ricard circuit (former home of the French Grand Prix) to show off its power.
That power turned out to be truly unbelievable: Gissy's two-wheeled marvel clocked 207mph in 4.7 seconds.
To hit the same speed would take a modern F1 car just under 10 seconds. In other words, this is all total madness.
The rocket engines give the bike an astonishing 557 horse power - roughly the same as a Bentley Continental GT, and slightly more than the iconic Ferrari F40.
But with a total weight of less than 10kg (as opposed to 1,110kg for the F40, 2,350 for the Bentley) it goes without saying that this thing is literally off the charts on the power-to-weight ratio.
And yet, unbelievably, it rally can be pedalled around when the hydrogen peroxide-powered, triple-thruster rocket propulsion system is not engaged.
And if you want to burn off a Ferrari 630, as Gissy does in the video above? Well, just flick that switch - and it's all yours.
