Still work to be done for the drivers and the teams at Yeongam - they are still finding their feet on the new track. McLaren had a good morning - Red Bull had the better afternoon. Fernando Alonso posted some competitive times too - but was anyone showing their full hand? Join us for qualifying LIVE tomorrow to find out!
The session is over! Senna comes in 24th - 8.7 seconds off the pace. Webber is our pacesetter in this session - Alonso second, Hamilton third, then Kubica, Button, Massa, Vettel and Petrov.
Massa on his radio: "The car is really difficult to drive in the middle sector!" Not much of a response from Rob Smedley - he simply says OK. The Brazilian is 6th fastest today.
There'll be time for Senna to put in a single flying lap.
Liuzzi has ground to a halt at turn 16 - he's out of everyone's way, fortunately, but his session is over.
Jenson Button is seven tenths of a second off the pace, but posts his quickest lap of the session to go fifth in his McLaren - 1:38.726!
Will Senna get some time on track before the session ends? It looks like he is ready to go with just over five minutes of the session remaining.
Felipe Massa is the latest driver to kick up some dust going marginally wide at turn 9.
The track is looking quite busy as Jenson Button swings fairly quickly through the first two sectors, only half a second off the pace-setting time - but he looks to have backed off to create some space ahead of him.
Robert Kubica puts in a 1:43 - similar sort of pace to Hamilton moments before, and well off the quickest times of the session. Jenson Button hits the track.
Nick Heidfeld goes off-roading in his Sauber. Here comes Lewis Hamilton back out in the McLaren, though this lap is five seconds off the pace.
The teams are switching to heavier fuel runs now, so expect the times to slow considerably...
Webber's tyres no signs of damage to those softs, going fastest with a 1:37.942! Alonso is second fastest (+ 0.190) and Hamilton third (+0.337)
Ferrari on Twitter: "Both Felipe and Fernando reported that the grip improved with soft tyres. Now we have to wait for their consistency"
Webber spins off at turn 12! Wild spin from the Aussie, who won't have done his soft tyres much good...
Alonso goes fastest! A 1:38.132 puts the Spaniard top of the times, with Kubica also going sub-1:39 with a 1:38.718 to go third.
Massa does his bit for the grip on the Korean International Circuit, slipping off coming out of a sector three corner and dragging a cloud of dust back onto the track with him.
A look at turn 16 - where Sakon Yamamoto span his HRT - shows the tricky compression which has lead to a number of the cars to bottom out. One to avoid if the conditions take a turn for the worse on Sunday, perhaps
Hamilton goes even faster with a 1:38.279, and it looks like they're going to keep shaving time off these lap-times! Could we be looking at 1:35s for qualifying? Massa goes second-fastest with a 1:38.820
Update on Button's car from McLaren: "It looked like Jenson's exhausts overheated on the run down the pitlane. His mechanics are just replacing some burnt parts before he's out."
