Petrov overtakes Kobayashi to go into P15.
Hamilton's pit crew say he is doing the same pace as Massa and Button behind him, so he needs to stay out for another couple of laps.
Race control have said they will take no action over the contact between Schumacher and Petrov - it is deemed a racing incident.
Webber ran a little wide, giving Alonso the initiative into turn 12 and he made it stick!
ALONSO!! He overtakes Webber and sends the home fans into raptures!! Great move from the Spaniard!
How they stand after one stop each: 1-Vettel, 2-Webber, 3-Alonso, 4-Hamilton, 5-Massa, 6-Button, 7-Rosberg, 8-Sutil, 9-Heidfeld, 10-Barrichello.
This is getting interesting - Vettel leads by 2.4 seconds, and Alonso is just another second back! Good drive from the home favourite.
Contact between Heidfeld and Perez, but the Renault man squeezes through... and Barrichello follows him through past Perez.
Frustration from Webber!! He is held up by a back marker and gesticulates wildly when he finally gets past! He was within 2.4 seconds of Vettel - how much time has that cost him?
Schumacher gets a new wing, and that's a good job from Mercedes... He collided with a Renault on exiting the pits after his first stop.
The front wing is dangling off Michael Schumacher's car and he has had some contact... he limps into the pits.
Big slide from Vettel! Maybe time to change those tyres, Seb... Webber pits. The Ferraris are still out there...
In comes Hamilton... more soft tyres for him, and off he goes... he comes out in seventh - that's fine.
Buemi pulls out of an overtaking move on Di Resta and locks up badly! Could be a flat spot there...
Heidfeld and Barrichello are the first men to pit - also Kobayashi.
Massa locks up going into the turn 17 hairpin and nearly lets Hamilton through! The McLaren is right on the Brazilian's case...
Hmm, I'm not sure what happened to all this overtaking we have been promised. There's still time...
The drivers will be starting to think about pit stops as they reach the 10-lap point.
Fernando Alonso is within a second of Webber, so he gets to use DRS as he hunts down the Australian.
An indication of how much Rosberg held Button up - the Briton is eight seconds behind his McLaren team-mate Lewis Hamilton in fifth.
Vettel's last lap - a 1:45.033 - was the fastest lap, but over eight seconds slower than he managed in qualifying...
