Red Bull's Max Verstappen starts on pole ahead of Ferrari's Charles Leclerc, after the Dutchman left it late to overtake the championship leader in yesterday's sprint race. Verstappen takes his second win of the season and that's followed up by his teammate coming home in second. Norris benefits from Leclerc's mistake and finishes third. Russell is fourth, Bottas fifth and Leclerc is sixth.

Leclerc gets past Magnussen and moves into eighth position, but admits the car "doesn't feel great."

Leclerc spins after hitting the curb at turn 14 hard. He hit the barrier on he outside, damaging his front wing, forcing him to pit. He rejoins in ninth. That could be massive for the championship come the end of the season!

FASTEST LAP BATTLE
Verstappen pits from the lead and puts on the soft tyres as he aims to keep the fastest lap of the race, for which he'll get an extra championship point. This could be an interesting ending.

Perez pits and also puts on the soft tyres.
Meanwhile, Leclerc gets back up to third after slip-streaming past Norris on the main straight.

Leclerc pits and put on the red walled soft compound tyre, aiming for fastest lap. However, he also loses out to Norris and is now fourth.

FIRST POINTS FOR ASTON MARTIN?
With Sebastian Vettel currently running seventh and Lance Stroll currently running 10th, Aston Martin are set for their first points of 2022. It'll be much needed after a tricky start to the season.

With the aid of DRS, Yuki Tsunoda makes his way into eighth, demoting Magnuseen to ninth.

Leclerc asks his enginner, "How does plan-B look?"
"Not good, stay out" is the response from his engineer. The Ferrari is just over three second behind Perez now.

MUST BE PAINFUL
Verstappen laps Hamilton, which must be so painful for everyone associated with Mercedes to see. Despite that however, Russell is doing another brilliant job, and is still running in p5 after he overtook Magnussen earlier on.

PROCESSION
In truth, the middle part of this Grand Prix has been a bit of a procession. Alexander Albon is holding off both Gasly and Hamilton for 12th, with the trio about to be lapped by race leader, Verstappen.

The drag reduction system (DRS) has now been enabled.

An on-board camera from Hamilton shows the dark clouds that are still looming overhead. A threat of rain remains as we enter the second half of this Grand Prix.

Ricciardo pits again for hard compound tyres. That should see the Australian comfortably to the end.

It seems that most race engineers are telling their drivers to look after the mediums there on, to try and make it to the end of the Grand Prix.

A small mistake from Perez brings Leclerc a lot closer once again, but he still can't get the move done.
