LAP 52/52 - SAINZ WINS THE BRITISH GRAND PRIX!
Sainz takes the chequered flag! He wins his first race, finally! Perez is in 2nd, Hamilton 3rd, and he gets the fastest lap of the race. A solid points haul for the British driver.
Verstappen holds off Schumacher on the line to get P7, as the Haas driver gets his first points in Formula 1!

LAP 51/52 - LAST LAP!
Sainz looks like he will take his first victory in Formula 1! He is onto the final lap! Perez is in 2nd, and Hamilton is in 3rd.

LAP 48/52 - MORE INCREDIBLE RACING!
Hamilton gets past Leclerc into Luffield on the outside as Leclerc goes wide into Brooklands! However, the Ferrari man is back neck-a-neck with the Mercedes into Copse, and regains the place!
However, Hamilton has DRS down the Hangar straight, and finally gets back into 3rd into Stowe corner!

LAP 46/52 - INCREDIBLE RACING!
Unbelievable! Leclerc leaves the track going into Club, and Hamilton leapfrogs both him and Perez on the start/finish straight! However, Hamilton then goes wide into Village, and Perez and Leclerc both jump him down the Wellington straight!
Alonso is now right on the tail of the Mercedes! Meanwhile, this looks like Sainz will secure his first win!

LAP 44/52 - SAINZ LEADS LECLERC BY TWO SECONDS!
Sainz has started to pull a gap out in front! It seems that Hamilton's tyres have now switched on and he attacks Perez into Copse, but he cannot get past just yet! Leclerc is holding everyone up, and there is a train of four cars behind him!

LAP 43/52 - GREEN FLAG!
Sainz takes the lead! He gets past Leclerc and almost runs him off the track on the Wellington straight!
Hamilton, meanwhile has struggled to get away, and Perez gets past him! He is into 3rd place! Hamilton is really struggling here!

LAP 42/52 - SAFETY CAR ENDING
Sainz on the team radio: "I'm going to be a lot quicker than Charles." Let's see how this plays out!

LAP 40/52 - BOTH HAMILTON AND SAINZ PIT!
Hamilton and Sainz have stopped for soft tyres and Leclerc stays out on the hards! The leader of this race may be compromised as a result!

LAP 39/52 - OCON HAS PROBLEMS! SAFETY CAR
Just a couple of laps after getting past Verstappen, Ocon pulls over after Woodcote corner on the straight and stops on the track! Verstappen and Schumacher have got straight past. Safety car deployed!

LAP 37/52 - OCON PASSES VERSTAPPEN!
Ocon is up to P8 after getting past Verstappen at the end of the Hangar straight and into Vale corner. A nice move! The Red Bull driver is still clearly struggling for pace.

Lewis Hamilton is told by engineer Pete Bonnington that warming up these set of tyres will be "challenging."

LAP 34/52 - HAMILTON IN THE PITS!
Hamilton comes in for the harder tyres but his stop is slightly on the slow side! That has cost him dearly! He is now three seconds behind Carlos Sainz and is in P3!

LAP 31/52 - FERRARI SWAP DRIVERS
Team orders have come from the pit wall just a few laps after deeming the pair okay to fight it out on track. It seems that Sainz was not lapping quick enough, and Leclerc easily gets past his team-mate down the Wellington straight into Brooklands corner.

LAP 30/52 - ZHOU DECLARED FIT
The Alfa Romeo driver has been declared fit and has been released from the medical centre. Great news!
Alex Albon has been transferred to hospital for precautionary checks.

LAP 27/52 - TEAM RADIO
Verstappen: "I don't know why you put me on these tyres with the damage, it's like I'm driving on ice!"
Hamilton: "These tyres are still good."

LAP 25/52 - HARD TYRES STRUGGLING TO WARM UP
It seems that the harder compound of tyres are taking a while to get into action, as both Sainz and Verstappen have complained on the team radio about a lack of grip.
Hamilton is now just nine tenths of a second behind Charles Leclerc, but the Ferrari driver pits from the lead and switches to the hard compound. He emerges back out behind his team mate in P3. Hamilton now leads the race, but he needs to pit again.

Verstappen is called in again, and this time opts for a new set of harder tyres. He comes back out in P8, just behind Sebastian Vettel.

Carlos Sainz is in! He pits from the lead and gets a set of the harder compound tyres. Could he run to the end of the race? He comes out in P3, ahead of Norris and 16 seconds behind Hamilton.
