Hugely impressive showings by the McLaren duo - thanks for joining us and we'll be back tomorrow afternoon for the race. Rain is forecast, so anything can yet happen... See you then!
-
Webber qualifies third, Vettel fourth - but Fernando Alonso is down in eighth. He's been outqualified by Massa to the tune of three places, with Maldonado and Hulkenburg between them. Raikkonen ninth and Rosberg 10th.
-
HAMILTON GRABS POLE POSITION! He comes in with a 1:12.458, Vettel can only come third a few moments later, and then Jenson Button comes through less than six hundredths behind Hamilton to lock out the front row for McLaren!
-
Alonso only fifth - Hamilton set for the quickest lap though! He's ahead into the final sector...
-
WEBBER HAS NAILED IT! A 1:12.581, but everyone else is out on the track with a chance to beat him, and the clock down.

Webber 0.238 up into the final sector...

Last few seconds, and Mark Webber has nailed the start of his final flying lap...
1'
Hamilton quickest so far, then Button, Webber, Hulkenburg, Massa. Alonso seventh, Vettel eighth so far...
1'
Button and Vettel come out at the exact same moment, Button is right in front of Vettel - and he could scupper Vettel's qualifying very easily!
2'
Vettel is back into the garage - driving over kerbs and grass he's no doubt worried about having trashed those tyres. Safest to come in and change em.
3'
Alonso into the pits for fresh tyres and a touch more fuel for a second go at it.
4'
Great lap from Button - it's a 1:12.980 and he's second, and with Vettel going well wide half-way through his first flying lap he clocks only a 1:13.9.
5'
Alonso in now with a 1:13.258, Webber follows up moments later with a 1:13.070...
6'
Hamilton gets his first flying lap in - and it's a 1:2.850, a stunning lap that might actually be a good call for pole!
7'
Lewis Hamilton is now out on the track too, while Rosberg's opening lap of 1:22.398 would be beaten comfortably by Miss Daisy.
8'
Vettel once again praying in the car - visualising the perfect lap in his head - and the covers are off his tyres now.
9'
Nico Rosberg is the only man out so far in Q3 - he'll post the time for everyone to chase here.
10'
Q3 gets under way, in what are now perfect conditions.
-
Pastor Maldonado was sixth in Q2, but he's driven through a red light directing him towards the weighbridge. Yet to see if he is penalised.
-
Something crazy has happened to the weather - those dark clouds have changed direction all of a sudden, and Interlagos is now bathed in sunshine.
