And the chequered flag is out and that’s the way the times finish. Lotus looking really strong, Raikkonen in particular. Join us tomorrow morning for FP3.

The circuit is certainly now much less dusty than when they day begun but it’s now littered with marbelling from worn rubber!
5'
With five minutes remaining, the times won’t change. Raikkonen quickest from Webber, Vettel and Alonso. Mercedes and McLaren look like they have plenty of work to do.
6'
Hamilton is back in the pits after completing 27 laps.

@clubforce: Less than 10 min left in this session. Medium run completed for both cars with some very convincing data!
8'
Alonso has now stitched back to the medium compound and begins his first lap of a new run which should see him until the chequered flag.
9'
A lot of rubber being cleared out of the front wing of Lewis Hamilton’s Mercedes in the pits. It proves how many marbles are down on the track and a big sign of tyre degradation. Paul di Resta now locks up.
11'
Raikkonen now on his tenth lap on the mediums.
12'
There won’t be any change in the lap times now so aside from any major incident, that should be that. It’s now just all about gathering data.
15'
Perez completed a long 20 lap stint on the mediums and is out again on the hards. He is 13th quickest.
17'
Massa has a slide through turns 7/8, clearly also struggling for grip. Again, this weekend will be all about tyres, tyres, tyres!
18'
Hamilton is out on the mediums and his pace is starting to drop off as the tyres start to get away from him over a longer run.
20'
Webber had a really slow lap, perhaps held up by a bit of traffic with Max Chilton in front of him. In the 1m42s.
21'
Webber is out again on the mediums as Vettel waits patiently ion the pits.
23'
The Marussia looks a real handful, Bianchi fighting for grip.
25'
It’s a very busy circuit at the moment with many cars running race simulation.
28'
For you McLaren fans, it’s not looking good as it hasn’t so far this season. Button is 11th, Perez 13th. Still early doors though.
29'
Force India and Williams still conducting laps on the medium compounds.
31'
Mark Webber has responded to speculation that he will be racing sportscars for Porsche next year with saying he hasn’t made any decisions yet and there’s always a lot of speculation. Very interesting...

Ferrari have reported that they will be conducting long fuel runs from now on so we won’t see a change in times.
