AUSTRIAN GRAND PRIX SPRINT RACE - AS IT HAPPENED

An easy win for Verstappen and the Ferrari team will be content to get their drivers back in the next two spaces. A decent showing from Perez to get up from 13th too.

He was already 19th, the last running car, and he's told to box after the earlier crash.

The Mercedes man is into eighth and the points. Bottas will want to pass the German now.

"The car ahead has gone off at least four times" Hamilton complains of Schumacher. He can't pass him on the inside or outside.

Hamilton is closing in on Schumacher, a few tenths of a second behind. There are three DRS sections in this circuit.

Verstappen is a few seconds ahead at the top, while with Russell in fourth he will anticipate a challenge from Perez in the next few laps. Hamilton is down in ninth.

The Mexican sweeps past Ocon at the restart. Russell is the next in line for a challenge.

Vettel spins out and can reverse out of the gravel. He clipped Albon and spun out, and perhaps Albon will get a slap on the wrist - let's see.

He's moving away from the pack after sweeping past Schumacher. He could challenge for a podium spot with this pace. Magnussen is his latest victim.

A five-second penalty for Albon for forcing Norris off the track.

The two Ferraris could benefit from working together, but instead they're battling each other. This could end quite badly for the Italians.

And Hamilton is now 10th, just behind his former teammate Bottas. Norris is forced off the track.

Hamilton is down to 11th, with the Red Bull man leaping up from 13th. Gasly and Hamilton touched early on in the race.

Verstappen gets away from Leclerc, Sainz takes second briefly and the two Ferraris chase the leader hard.

His car is taken into the garage before we kick off.

We will probably lose a lap off the Sprint now, and Zhou is likely to get into the pits behind Alonso. We're on another formation lap.

The tyre blankets are still on as the cars go off for the formation lap. He'll probably be starting from the pit lane.
