There was little attention paid to drainage when the circuit was built, but as the sun shines more forcefully it will dry out no problem. Parts of it are completely dry already, while parts of it are mostly damp. Robert Kubica and Fernando Alonso have been out.

Christian Klien is first out, with Lucas Di Grassi, Jaime Alguersuari and Sebastien Buemi following. The track is still very damp, with some dry lines clearly visible.
