A really bright start in this one, Mexico attacked first and then Saudi Arabia had a chance. A very lively opening.

The noise is absolutely fantastic. Mexico supporters are outnumbered in the stadium but are making so much noise. Let's hope the football is as good as the build up has been!

The other game tonight in Group C is between Poland and Argentina. Mexico supporters in particular will be keeping one eye on the result in that game as it directly affects them.

Saudi Arabia have only ever made it to the knockout stages of a FIFA World Cup once in their history back in 1994. They navigated a group with Netherlands, Morocco and Belgium before losing in the Round of 16 to Sweden.

Since then, they have qualified for four World Cups and been knocked out in the group stage of all four.

It's been a disappointing tournament so far for Gerardo Martino's side, they are yet to score a goal and sit bottom of the group with one point. However, they could change that all tonight if they win and results elsewhere go their way.

Mexico will be fully pumped up for this one!

Despite losing to Poland last time out, Saudi Arabia will be full of confidence after their historic 2-1 victory over Argentina in the first group game.

They will feel that if they approach this game with the same intensity and intelligence, they are capable of getting a result tonight and qualifying.

Mexico MUST win tonight if they are to have any chance of qualifying for the Round of 16 and then hope that Poland beat Argentina. Poland could also draw with Argentina but Mexico would then need a greater goal difference than Argentina to progress.

Saudi Arabia know that no matter what happens elsewhere, if they win the game tonight they are through to the Round of 16. They will need to approach the game with this mindset and go for the win from the off.
