FULL TIME
Sweden won their opening match at the World Cup for the first time since 1958! Andrea Granqvist, their centre-back captain, stepped up to score a penalty and South Korea couldn't find an equaliser.
The result means Sweden are level with Mexico on three points at the top of Group F.
SOUTH KOREA CHANCE!
Hwang is unmarked at the back post to meet a devilish corner from the left, but he inexplicitly heads wide from a matter of yards out.
What an opportunity to draw the game...
There will be FOUR minutes of added time. Can South Korea find a much-needed equaliser?
South Korea would probably need six points to advance in Group F and you don't need me to tell you that it's a tall order to beat both Mexico and Germany.
As mentioned earlier in my pre-match notes, this game was arguably a must-win for both sides after Mexico's shock victory over Germany yesterday. It becomes very difficult for South Korea to progress if they lose this one.
South Korea's goalkeeper has been impressive this afternoon but his efforts will have been in vain if his side fail to score...
As it stands Sweden are holding on pretty comfortably. They haven't won an opening World Cup game since 1958!
But there are still over five minutes to play...
Seung Woo-Lee has looked lively since his introduction and now he wins a corner for South Korea as his shot is deflected behind by Granqvist.
SWEDEN SUB!
It doesn't look too good for Larsson as he limps off the pitch in some pain. He is replaced by Gustav Svensson.

Son tries to engineer an opportunity all on his own as he attempts to dance through a crowded midfield but runs into trouble.
Hwang has a chance to get a shot away inside the Sweden penalty area but he slips at the crucial moment. It's been that kind of day for South Korea, hasn't it?
SWEDEN SUB!

South Korea have failed to threaten in the attacking third for 75 minutes, they just haven't offered enough in attack. Son looked dangerous in the first-half, but he has been a virtual spectactor since the restart.
There has been much debate about VAR during this year's World Cup but Gary is right, the correct decision was made on this occasion.
SOUTH KOREA SUB!

Eyebrows were raised when Granqvist stepped up to take the penalty, but he was cool, calm and collected and scored with minimal fuss. Sweden are in a great position now and it's a deserved lead.
GOAAAALLLL! Sweden 1-0 South Korea
The captain Granqvist steps up from centre-back to take the penalty... and side-foots it into the bottom corner, sending the goalkeeper the wrong way!
