On paper, England should win this game. They clearly have the better players, but Sweden are an excellent team unit, as they have shown at this World Cup and in qualification too.

Sterling drops deep to pick up the ball. We have seen that quite a lot from the Manchester City winger at this tournament. He plays as a number 10 for Southgate in this side, at times.

England are looking to take control of the game in the opening few minutes. They have the ball, although Sweden have surprised by pushing quite high on the defensive line in possession.

What a chance this is for these two teams. One of either Sweden or England will make the semi finals of the World Cup where they will face one of either Russia or Croatia. What an opportunity.

Yesterday, we saw France and Belgium move into the semi finals of the World Cup. Which one of Sweden and England will join them there? Just 10 minutes until the big kick off now.

England have beaten Tunisia, Panama and Colombia on their way to this quarter final. Sweden have knocked out Holland and Italy in qualification, Germany in the group and Switzerland in the last 16.

Of course, it should be noted that the draw has really opened up for England. If they are to make the final, they have to beat Sweden and then one of Croatia or Russia. What a chance.

I wonder if Loftus-Cheek might have been a good pick for this game. He opened up the opening group game against Tunisia. Sweden will sit deep and Loftus-Cheek's directness might have helped break them down.

This is a strong Sweden side. They line up pretty much as expected. Their defensive resolution has been key to their success at this World Cup so far. They will be tough to break down.

So the big team news for England is that, well, there is none. It's an unchanged team from Southgate. It had been speculated that Alli would drop out, but he's there in the lineup.
