The result does hold, Japan are through!

Japan lose, but they will go through if the result in the other game hlds!
The whistles and boos are loud as both sides very casually knock the ball around the middle of the park.
Neither side is showing any interest in attacking and the crowd aren't happy.
Japan are clearly relying ont he score holding in the other game.
SUB: Muto is replaced by Hasebe.
Poland are showing confidence like they haven't displayed yet at this tournament. Japan need to pose more of a threat to keep this in their hands.

A Grosicki cross from the right is nearly turned in by Makino for an own goal!

Poland win a corner but Glick heads it wide.
Colombia have now scored, which means Senegal and Japan are now separated by fair play!
Senegal have had five yellows to Japan's three.

Grosicki has space on the right flank and puts a square ball in to Lewandowski - his first touch puts the ball over the bar!
Nine times out of 10 Lewy puts that in the net!
Japan win a corner. Shibasaki swings it in but Yoshida's header glances wide of the post.
SUB: Usami makes way for Inui.
Usami plays a 35-yard diagonal into the box to pick out Muto brilliantly, but his first touch lets him down.
That was bad news for Japan: as it stands, Senegal and Colombia are through!
A great finish from Bednarek, but Sakai didn't stay with his runner and paid the price.
GOAL!
Poland win a free kick around 35 yards from goal. Kurzawa floats it in and Bednarek volleys into the net!
Shibasaki puts a corner into the mixer and it falls to centre-back Makino, who attempts a very ambitious overhead kick! It lands in the side netting.
Nagatomo does well on the left flank and finds Muto in the box, but his attempted dribble is cut out by the resolute Polish back line.
