Senderos is going to replace the clearly groggy Von Bergen.

Giroud's high foot into Von Bergen's face draws blood, and he's down getting treatment.

Benzema makes a little room for himself on the edge of the box, brings the ball onto his right foot and curls a shot just wide of goal.

Sissoko has impressed recently, so that's sensible enough.

Some astute World Cup observations from Booth, here.

The Swiss play a pass straight out of play, and Evra takes a long throw forward, from which Djourou gives away a foul.

France have the better start, but neither side have created a chance yet. France start to play it out from the back.

We get the match underway, and I've attached my tweet about the match like the self-obsessed egomaniacal monster I am.

Here's some superb tactical insight. I would say that Valbuena doesn't have the strength or vision to play in the middle, but I haven't watched much of him this year, so my information could be utter jazz.

I'm going to predict a 5-0 win for Switzerland, going by the fact that I have psychic skills and it just appeared to me in a vision. If you'd like to predict the score then let me know on Twitter at @lxndrnthrtn.

Pogba is apparently out of the squad because of his reaction to the roughhousing of Honduras. He's a great player, but if that is the case, then I suppose it is the sensible option in the long run. He can't, after all, put in a transfer request to another side.

And a last comment on the previous game. You can see in the photo below just how much the success meant to Costa Rica. They were tactically disciplined and equipped with a technique that British countries are decades away from, and Italy were a lethargic disgrace.

France are favourites for this match. Benzema has been shifted left for Giroud, which in my opinion is a mistake, but then again I've never got France to qualify for an international tournament, or any tournament for that matter. The French are weakest down their left hand side with Patrice Evra and Mamadou Sakho, but they should have enough quality, confidence and, crucially, unity to beat a promising but still limited Switzerland side.

England have CRASHED OUT of the World Cup. One of the many reasons for their failure was their pathetic loss against Uruguay. You can see a review of the game here.

The Bang Bang club have got nothing on this World Cup picture slideshow.

Here's a video preview of the match we're about to get quite literally stuck into with a figurative knife and fork. Switzerland vs France. Is this the greatest match of all time?
