So that is it. That will go down as one of the most incredible nights of football in history. Germany were superb and are surely favourites for the whole tournament. Brazil had been derided in the build-up to this tie as an average side. Tonight they were horribly below average.

That last goal was so good that even the home support have applauded. That is arguably the best goal of the tournament!

David Luiz and Mueller exchange awful tackles. Both lucky not to get a yellow there.

Draxler comes on for Khedira, who has to have a shout for man of the match.

David Luiz, vice-captain, appears to have given up on the idea of positioning. He is literally all over the place.

They have been that bad.

Germany just keep the ball better – they work it back and forth and, while the ball to Howedes is over-hit, it was the right ball at the right time.

Bernard is in down the left and he finds Willian on the edge of the box. The Chelsea man makes a yard and looks for a curler to the top corner but it is wild.
