SCOTLAND SCRAPE A NERVY WIN AT HAMPDEN PARK
Steve Clarke will feel relieved to come away from Sunday's match with all three points after a tough 90 minutes with a dogged Belarus.
Che Adams brilliantly gave his side the lead early on after weathering an intense storm from the away side in the first 15 minutes.
Scotland would then have to wait another 70 minutes until Scott McTominay doubled his country's lead. The Napoli man is the one with all the answers at the moment as he looks to drag his side through tough games just like this. A swift touch and shot on his left foot had the Belarus defence stuck still before they could intercept.
They looked down and out but somehow Gleb Kuchko managed to pull one back in stoppage time and you could feel the nerves among the Scottish support.
But in the end it was all too late as the final whistle blew and it was the home side who would claim all three points and the top spot in Group C on a nervy night in Hampden Park.
