Hello and welcome to our LIVE text commentary of Wales' World Cup qualification clash with Austria in Vienna. Despite their Euro 2016 heroics, Chris Coleman's men are the underdogs this evening against the talented Austrians, on their own patch. Both sides are on three points after a positive start to the qualification campaign. I'm Pete Hall, and I will be bringing you the action, as it happens, live!

Phew, a enthralling evening's entertainment. Wales negotiate their toughest group match and come out with something to show for their troubles. The Dragons lead twice through Joe Allen and a Kevin Wimmer own goal, but were pegged back twice by Stoke's Marko Arnautovic. In truth, Austria dominated for long spells, and could easily have snatched all three points. Four points from two games for both. Georgia up next for Wales. Thanks for joining us. Full report and reaction to follow on site. Goodbye.

CLOSE! Arnautovic slices well wide from a good position after a swift Austrian counter. Seemed to get carried away. Should have hit the target.

The 4000 travelling Welshmen would love the final whistle now, but a late winner is not beyond them.

The Vienna crowd are really trying to spur their side on here. Alaba is the conductor, raising his arms to get people off their seats.

Cap number 37 for Hal Robson-Kanu as he replaces Vokes, who put in an almighty shift.

Bale launches in another one, the ball comes back to him, he ghosts past two men, gets to the byline, drills low at goal, but Ozcan is down to palm it away.
74'
Another Bale long throw causes problems, but Alaba sweeps the ball clear with Chester lurking.

Wales really hanging on here. Chester does brilliantly to keep out Alaba. Tremendous strength before being fouled.

A long ball into Vokes drops nicely for him about 25 yards out. He takes on the volley but gets it all wrong. Well wide.
