FULL-TIME: Argentina 1-1 Brazil
Alves wants a red card to be shown to Funes Mori, now. It's all getting a bit heated. The Everton defender appeared to trod on the Brazilian's ankle, but there wasn't a red card incident in that.
SENT OFF! David Luiz (Brazil). Having picked up a booking just moments ago, the Brazilian defender has now collected a second yellow. He goes in hard on Biglia, with two feet as well.
YELLOW CARD: David Luiz (Brazil)
OTAMENDI SHOULD HAVE DONE BETTER! Biglia's cross into the area is a beauty, but the Manchester City defender heads over the target when he really should have tested the keeper.
YELLOW CARD: Javier Mascherano (Argentina)
Argentina sub: Ever Banega and Gonzalo Higuain OFF, Erik Lamela and Paulo Dybala ON.
Brazil are looking dangerous, and now Costa has a shot saved by Romero. The Bayern Munich man skipped past Alves but his near post effort is collected by the Argentina goalkeeper.
ROMERO IS NEEDED TO MAKE THE SAVE! Neymar drives at the Argentina backline and smashes a striker towards the target from 20 yards, but the goalkeeper palms it over the bar.
HIGUAIN JUST COULDN'T STRETCH FAR ENOUGH! The cross comes in from the left wing from Rojo, but the Napoli striker can't stretch his leg far enough to make the connection.
This has turned into a very open game now. It really is there for the taking, but there's a distinct lack of quality on show in the final third. It could come down to a mistake over a moment of magic.
WILLIAN COMES CLOSE TO FINDING THE NET! The Chelsea forward skips past the challenge of two Argentine defenders and shoots, but his effort is blocked by Funes Mori in the end.
Neymar attempts to dribble through the entire Argentine backline, with the Barcelona man eventually tackled. The ball falls back to Elias, but he smashes his shot well over the bar.
Argentina are trying to build up some momentum for a late push on the Brazil goal. They need three points from this game and will rue their missed chances if they don't get them.
There have been doubts about whether Lavezzi should start for the Albiceleste, but he was arguably the best player on the pitch tonight. The PSG man gave Brazil all kinds if problems.
Argentina sub: Ezequiel Lavezzi OFF, Nico Gaitan ON.
