As detailed in our preview, there is unrest in Spain's camp due to manager Jorge Vilda. Last year, 15 players said that they would not play for Spain unless Vilda and his coaching staff were removed and changes were made. The RFEF stood behind Vilda despite significant backlash. Now, only three of those 15 players are at the World Cup.

Just now, as the teams were being read out in Stadium Australia, his name was booed heavily by the crowd.

The two-time Ballon d’Or winner isn't 100% match fit, so the decision makes sense, and she can certainly cause some carnage off the bench!

Sarina Wiegman names an unchanged XI. The big debate was whether James, who has served her two-match suspension, would slot back into her starting spot, but there is only room for her on the bench, as Toone retains her spot as the Lionesses’ number 10.
