The hosts are without two of their stars for tonight's clash, with top scorer Khadija Shaw sidelined through an injury picked up during the League Cup final.

Aoba Fujino, who scored City's only goal in the final, also picked up an injury which has ruled her out of tonight's match.

It remains to be seen whether the pair will make the second leg tie.

Chelsea are yet to lose across all competitions this season under new head coach Sonia Bompastor.

The Blues will be hopeful of a similar result tonight, whilst City need to do something no side has done this campaign and beat Chelsea.

Chelsea have made two changes from their League Cup final victory over City on Saturday, with Kiera Walsh returning from injury to make the starting XI, replacing Sjoeke Nusken.

Aggie Beaver-Jones also comes into the side, replacing Johanna Rytting Kaneryd, who doesn’t make the squad.

The Blues keep the same defence that started Saturday’s victory.
