ARSENAL OVERTURN TWO-GOAL DEFICIT IN SECOND LEG TO REACH SEMI-FINALS
Arsenal progressed to the semi-finals of the UEFA Women's Champions League after beating Real Madrid 3-0 at the Emirates.
The Gunners lost the first leg 2-0, but overturned the deficit with three goals during a stunning second-half display in north London.
Renee Slegers' side lacked a cutting edge during the opening 45 minutes, but Alessia Russo came out of the blocks firing after the break.
She converted Chloe Kelly's cross in the 46th minute to give her side the lead.
Kelly's lethal deliveries set up Mariona Caldentey for Arsenal's second just three minutes later as the hosts turned the tie on its head.
Russo capped the remarkable comeback in the 59th minute, and the England international had two more goals disallowed for offside as she went on the hunt for her hat-trick.
Arsenal will now progress to the semi-finals of the UEFA Women's Champions League for the eighth time in their history, where they will face Lyon.

WILLIAMS BACKS RUSSO IN MORE CENTRAL ROLE
Fara Williams said: "I notice small changes, I think some of the small changes surround the work she does without the ball,"
"I felt before she did a lot of her movements in wide areas away from the goal.
"I think under Renee Slegers and certainly under the guidance of Kelly Smith she is doing a lot more work centrally between the posts and that is where you get most of your goals.
"You saw in the second half, the impact it had for her when she plays that way, I thought in the first half she did too much of her work away from and out of the area.
"That for me has been a massive change for her. She is in front of the goal, and we all know she can finish really well."

RUSSO SAYS MADRID VICTORY WAS BEST NIGHT IN ARSENAL SHIRT
Alessia Russo said: "Yeah it was amazing, it still feels surreal right now, not really letting it sink it yet,"
"We have had a lot of belief all week, we knew what we wanted to do and we knew what we are capable of as a team and we have done that tonight.
"Yeah for sure [it was one of her best nights in an Arsenal shirt], hopefully long may they continue, but yeah that one was special.
"I know [she was close to hat-trick], VAR ruined that one, but no I should have scored a third anyway without the two.
"I'll look back and go again but tonight we are going to enjoy the night
"We knew that we were doing well in the first half, we felt good.
"As a team, we felt like we had the momentum.
"We just said that we wanted to be a little bit more patient in the final third.
"We probably should have had more to be fair."
GUNNERS STUN MADRID WITH SUPERB SECOND-HALF DISPLAY
Arsenal are through to the UEFA Women's Champions League semi-finals for the eighth time after a stunning 3-0 victory over Real Madrid at The Emirates.
The Gunners lacked cutting edge during the opening 45 minutes in North London, but Alessia Russo's double and a Mariona Caldentey goal wrapped up the win after the break.
Arsenal will now progress to the semi-finals where they will face Lyon.
However, before turning their attention to that, they should celebrate a remarkable display.
Madrid had their moments during a closely-fought second half.
In the closing stages Linda Caicedo had several opportunities to score, but it was not to be, and Madrid miss the chance to reach the semi-finals for the first time.
