Desire Doue scored the winner as Paris Saint-Germain successfully defended their UEFA Super Cup crown with a narrow 2-1 victory over Aston Villa.
The winger decided the tie just after the hour mark in Salzburg, after Brian Madjo cancelled out Khvicha Kvaratskhelia's opener.
Despite Villa's positive start, they fell behind in the 20th minute as Kvaratskhelia flashed a fierce strike into the roof of the net.
Unai Emery's side responded well and wasted a glorious opportunity to equalise when Madjo headed over from inside the six-yard box.
However, the 17-year-old made amends just before half-time, guiding home John McGinn's deep cross on the half-volley.
PSG edged their noses back in front in the 61st minute with substitute Ousmane Dembele releasing Doue, whose neat finish was initially ruled out for offside but eventually awarded following a VAR review.
It proved the decisive moment in the contest. Villa pushed for a second equaliser later on, but the Champions League winners held out to add yet another trophy to their bulging cabinet.

A VALIANT EFFORT FROM VILLA
Emery's side come up narrowly short of adding to their Europa League triumph, though it wasn't due to a lack of effort.
Villa more than held their own against PSG, and arguably carried the greater attacking threat for several periods of the contest.
Despite falling behind after a positive start, the Europa League winners didn't let their heads drop.
They grabbed their equaliser courtesy of 17-year-old Madjo, who became the youngest player in history to find the net in the Super Cup.
Similarly, Villa pushed to get back in the game after falling behind again, but it didn't quite arrive for them.
