Cristiano Ronaldo has 'no problem' with Rasmus Hojlund Siu celebration in Denmark win over Portugal - 'It's an honour'

Cristiano Ronaldo has broken his silence after Rasmus Hojlund copied his infamous 'Siu' celebration in Denmark's victory over Portugal on Thursday. The Manchester United striker scored the only goal of the game of their UEFA Nations League tie, before hitting Ronaldo's trademark move. "For me, it's not a problem," Ronaldo said ahead of the return leg on Sunday.

Cristiano Ronaldo insists he has "no problem" with Rasmus Hojlund using his trademark 'Siu' celebration in Denmark's victory over Portugal.
Manchester United's Hojlund struck in the 78th minute on Thursday to give Brian Riemer's side a one-goal advantage in their UEFA Nations League quarter-final, which will be concluded with the second leg on Sunday.
Hojlund marked the goal by using Ronaldo's infamous celebration in front of a rapturous Parken crowd, but the former Red Devil did not seem too fazed by it.
"No problem. For me, it's not a problem," the Al-Nassr star said ahead of Sunday's second leg.
"I knew it's not because he does not have respect for me, of course not. I'm smart enough to understand that not only him but around the world other sportspeople do my celebration.
"For me, it's an honour. But I hope tomorrow he can see my celebration."
Following the game, Hojlund had some nice words to say about Ronaldo and why he chose to do the celebration, which was purely out of admiration for the Portugal skipper.
"Cristiano Ronaldo is everything to me," he said.
"I fell in love with football because of Cristiano, I became a Manchester United fan because of Cristiano. I always wanted to be Cristiano."
Hojlund will be hoping his goal will count towards qualification to the Nations League semi-finals for Denmark, while Ronaldo knows the job in hand if Portugal are to advance.
"The air is more tense. I'm not hiding it," Ronaldo added. "We're in a tense moment because we need to win, but that's the beautiful thing about football.
"I'm calling on the fans to be with us [on Sunday]. Let them give us their strength, because we're going to try to do our best.

"I've lost games in 90 minutes, but I've never lost in the first leg. There are games like that, there are bad days. I didn't play at all the other day, the team didn't play at all, but it's part of life.
"Tomorrow I want to leave the Alvalade Stadium with my head held high. If I score, I'll be happy, but if I don't score, let someone else score, what I want is for Portugal to win."
