    CHANCE!
Digne sends a cross in from the left and Griezmann heads into the ground from around the penalty spot. Cillessen saves!
    9'
Blind has space to charge forward on the left, but his cross is batted away by Varane.
    8'
It's all been about patient Dutch build-up play. They've had 79% possession thus far. The Rotterdam faithful sound pleased.
    6'
France make their move forward with Griezzman, but de Ligt cuts out his through-ball, intended for Matuidi.
    5'
Holland have dominated possession and the ball has stayed in France's defensive half so far.
No French player had touched the ball until Wijnaldum's shot.
    3'
Wijnaldum should have done better with that chance, but it's already clear that the Netherlands are willing to get forward.
    2'
    CHANCE!
Memphis Depay breaks down the right hand side and cuts the ball to Wijnaldum waiting in the box - he's in plenty of space and he forces a save from Lloris!

    AND WE'RE OFF!
Anthony Taylor, leading the all-English officiating team, pips his whistle and Depay takes the first touch.
    19.40
Kick-off at Feyenoord's beautifully old school stadium is five minutes away!
Keep an eye out for Memphis Depay, who has scored three times in Holland's last two home matches. The Lyon forward has been involved in 50% of the Netherlands' goals in 2018 (as per @OptaJean).
    19.35
Didier Deschamps has been talking up the opposition, particuarly the Ajax youngster who is reportedly wanted by Barcelona and Manchester City: "We tend to praise attacking players, but there is one that impresses me and that's the young [Frenkie] De Jong in midfield, with his intelligence, his ability to bring the ball out and get it forward."
    19.30
Ronald Koeman: "France plays very compact, which is one of the reasons why they have become world champions.
"We want to dominate the game, but they have a few players with lots of individual qualities. They have a lot of speed up front, so their biggest asset is the counter-attack.
"That is why it will probably be more difficult here than in Paris."
    19.25
It's been 10 years since the Dutch last beat the French - their glorious encounter at Euro 2008.
Dirk Kuyt, Arjen Robben, Robin van Persie and Wesley Sniejder were responsible for the Oranje goals that night, which helped send Raymond Domenech's team home with their collective tails between their legs.
    19.20
HEAD TO HEAD: The two nations who have the same flag - give or take 90 degrees - have met 27 times. France have won 13 and there have been four draws. The Dutch, however have outscored the French in those meetings 54-47.

No amount of The Beautiful South is going to make things warmer in Rotterdam tonight: it's currently 4C and will drop to nearly freezing near kick-off.

The Netherlands typically play their home matches at the Amsterdam ArenA (don't forget that second capitalised 'A'), but are gracing Feyenoord's home tonight.
They have scored a lot of goals in their last three games in Rotterdam: a 5-0 win over Luxembourg; a 5-0 win over the Ivory Coast and a 4-1 win against Belarus.
    19.05
Despite their lofty opposition, the Netherlands may be feeling confident of a win tonight, having defeated the Germans 3-0 and drawn with Belgium in their last two outings.
However, Les Bleus are responsible for Holland's last two competitive defeats: the 2-1 loss at the Stade de France in September, and the 4-0 hammering in World Cup qualification last August.
    19.00
We may all be trying to figure out how much to care about the UEFA Nations League, but the Dutch have plenty riding on this one. With a victory, they can relegate their arch rivals Germany. It would also mean they would win the group with at least a draw against the Germans in Gelsenkirchen on Sunday.
If France win, they will qualify for next summer's knockout tournament.
    18.55
NETHERLANDS: Cillessen, Blind, Van Dijk, De Ligt, Dumfries, F. De Jong, Wijnaldum, De Roon, Babel, Memphis, Bergwijn. Subs: Sakho, Sissoko, Plea, Dembele, Mandanda, Rami, Fekir, Sidibe, Thauvin, NDombele, F Mendy, Areola.
    18.51
It's an injury-stricken France side, with Paul Pogba, Anthony Martial, Alexandre Lacazette and Ben Mendy all sidelined.
The Dutch, meanwhile, are starting Ryan Babel for this crucial tie. So there's that.
    18.47
And the world champions will start thusly...
