Barca tell Chelsea price for Lopez

Barcelona have set Chelsea an asking price of €70m if they wish to complete a deal for Fermin Lopez in the final week of the summer transfer window, according to Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo.
The 22-year-old is reportedly contemplating a departure from the Blaugrana amid concerns surrounding his game time under Hansi Flick this season - and a move to Stamford Bridge would come with increased wages.
SPORT reported last week that the Blues tabled a €50m offer for Fermin, who was substituted at half-time during Barcelona's opening-day victory at Mallorca on August 16 in La Liga.
The Spain international, 22, has a contract at the Spanish champions until 2029 but Mundo Deportivo's report claims that Chelsea have given the midfielder - who joined Barcelona from Real Betis aged 12 - 48 hours to decide if he would be open to a move.

Love interest blocks Sancho's Stadio Olimpico move

Meanwhile in Italy, it has been reported that Jadon Sancho turned down a proposed move to Roma owing to events in his personal life - and specifically a rumoured romantic relationship with US rapper Saweetie.
La Gazzetta dello Sport claim that the Giallorossi were willing to offer Manchester United a deal worth €23m for Sancho, who has entered the final year of his Old Trafford contract.
A salary just shy of €6m per season is reportedly on the table, but it is yet to be approved by the player despite his agent meeting with Roma sporting director Ricky Massara in London on Tuesday.
La Gazzetta dello Sport report a potential love interest has come in between Sancho's proposed move to the Stadio Olimpico - even claiming that the player is willing to take his career Stateside.

Garnacho, Disasi not keen on Saudi Pro League switch

Another player who is expected to leave Manchester United in the coming days is Alejandro Garnacho, but precisely where the winger ends up is still uncertain.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has claimed that the 21-year-old Argentina international has turned down the chance to move to an unnamed Saudi Pro League club in the past 48 hours.
Chelsea are reportedly still in advanced talks with United over the player's sale, with Garnacho's heart set on a move to the capital over taking an even more lucrative pay cheque elsewhere.
Speaking on his YouTube channel regarding Garnacho's future, Italian journalist Romano said: "I’m told that also, a Saudi club called again in recent days to ask about the situation. ‘Why is Garnacho still not going to Chelsea? Can we enter the deal?’ The answer was, ‘Thanks, but it’s not about the money’."
While Chelsea could soon be welcoming Garnacho to the club, they are keen on offloading defender Axel Disasi who has himself been linked with a move to Saudi Pro League club SC Neom.
Foot Mercato report, however, that the centre-back is also not open to the move the newly formed club that has signed Alexandre Lacazette and Abdoulaye Doucoure, among others this summer.

Former Gunner Ceballos to replace Rabiot at OM?

One deal the French publication claim is edging closer, however, is the transfer of former Arsenal loanee Dani Ceballos from Real Madrid to Marseille with an agreement said to have been reached.
The report claims that Ceballos, 29, has already agreed to join Roberto De Zerbi's side on an initial loan deal with the option to buy.
Marseille are expected to offload the transfer-listed Adrien Rabiot following his explosive altercation with team-mate Jonathan Rowe, who has now joined Serie A side Bologna.
Ceballos, who has a contract at Madrid until 2027, played 45 matches in all competitions last season but has been deemed surplus to requirements by new head coach Xabi Alonso.
