Bayern consider Rashford deal
Bayern Munich have been linked with a move for Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford.Â
Aston Villa have elected not to sign Rashford after a loan spell, meaning other teams may now try to sign him.
The Mirror writes: "Marcus Rashford could be handed an escape route from his Manchester United nightmare by German giants Bayern Munich.
"Bundesliga champions Bayern have emerged as shock contenders to sign United outcast Rashford, who is not part of head coach Ruben Amorim's future plans. Rashford spent the second half of last season on loan at Aston Villa, after falling out of favour with Amorim over the forward's perceived lack of focus and application in training.
"Villa declined to take up an option to sign Rashford for ÂŁ40million at the end of the loan agreement, leaving the 27-year-old facing an awkward return to United next week to start pre-season. That has left the door open for other clubs to move for Rashford."
Wrexham keen on Watford keeper
Wrexham are reportedly interested in Watford goalkeeper Daniel Bachmann, and he could be available on a free transfer.
The Sun reports that the 30-year-old Austria international may be released from his contract as Watford look to save cash.
The paper explains: "Watford keeper Dan Bachmann is set to leave the club on a free transfer despite having three years left on his contract.
"Bachmann, 30, has been at Vicarage Road for eight years but has been told that he can find a new club due to the size of his wages.
"And Watford are even happy to avoid demanding a transfer fee to get him off their books as soon as possible.
"The Austrian international, who has played 138 times for the Hornets, has attracted interest from Wrexham and Salzburg."
Newcastle keen on Marseille defender Balerdi
Newcastle United are making moves to sign central defender Leonardo Balerdi from Marseille.
Juventus are also credited with an interest in the 26-year-old, and he could cost around ÂŁ35m.
The Daily Mail claims: "Newcastle United are exploring a move for Marseille centre back Leonardo Balerdi.
"The 26-year-old Argentina international has been impressing under Roberto de Zerbi and has drawn enquiries from Juventus in recent weeks, having worked previously with their coach Igor Tudor at Marseille.
"However, with Juventus juggling a number of targets and their budget limited, Newcastle have sensed an opportunity in the window and are seeing if a deal can be struck around ÂŁ35m."
Burnley keen on Calvert-Lewin and Vardy
Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Jamie Vardy, Callum Wilson and Tolu Arokodare are all striker options for Burnley.
The Premier League newcomers are attempting to strengthen their squad to beat the drop in the coming campaign.
The Telegraph reports: "Burnley are working on striker options for manager Scott Parker including Genk’s Tolu Arokodare and Premier League players whose contracts have expired.
"Following promotion from the Championship, targeting free transfers brings into play the likes of Dominic Calvert-Lewin following his departure from Everton, as well as Callum Wilson and Jamie Vardy."
