Barcelona interest in Guehi
Marc Guehi is among the most sought after defenders in world football, with the Crystal Palace skipper having less than a year remaining on his current contract.
Amid a move to Liverpool reportedly falling through on transfer deadline day, the 25-year-old is widely thought to remain a target for the Merseyside club, while Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo has suggested that Barcelona are also keeping tabs on the England international.
The report reads: "Although at Barca the defensive priority seems to be a left-footed centre back after the departure of Inigo Martinez, and in that sense Dayot Upamecano (26 years old and contract with Bayern until 2026) and Nico Schlotterbeck (27 years old and contract with Borussia Dortmund until 2027) have been mentioned without much echo, Guehi is a gem in the market that everyone is paying attention to."
Elsewhere, Sky Sports’ Florian Plettenberg suggested that Bayern Munich are another of Europe’s elite to have commenced talks with Guehi over the prospect of a move next summer.
Guehi has been omnipresent for Palace in their strong start to the 2025/26 season, in a defence which has conceded just five goals in seven Premier League matches.

Man Utd target Barcelona’s Raphinha
The Brazil international, who was crowned La Liga’s player of the season last term after registering 34 goals and 26 assists in all competitions, would reportedly cost "a minimum of €120million (£104m)".
According to the outlet: "Barcelona, faced with its dire financial situation, has made moves in several transfer windows and could consider negotiating if the offer is irresistible.
"However, the club is reportedly demanding a minimum of €120million for its star player. Meanwhile, sources close to Manchester United assure that this figure would not be an impediment if viewed as a strategic investment.
"The English club believes signing Raphinha could make a difference in rebuilding its squad.
"One of the key factors that could play in Barca's favor is that, shortly before the most intense rumors emerged, they renewed the player's contract until June 2028. This gives them a strong position to negotiate or even reject offers that don't convince them."

Palace look to fend off Real Madrid’s Wharton interest
Adam Wharton is another Palace player to have caught the attention of Europe’s elite, with Spanish outlet Diario AS claiming The Eagles are "looking to scare" Real Madrid by offering Wharton a new contract.
The report reads: "Wharton is one of Madrid's targets for next summer to strengthen their midfield.
"According to the English newspaper Daily Mail, Crystal Palace wants to renew the player's contract, including an exit clause.
"This would secure them a significant amount of money for his transfer, and the player would thus increase their earnings. The exact amount is not specified, but it is estimated to be around €80million (£69m)."

Rodrygo almost joined Barcelona
In an interview with AS, Real Madrid forward Rodrygo revealed he almost joined Barcelona before signing for Los Blancos.
Speaking on his 2019 transfer from Santos, he explained: "Before I signed for Madrid, everything was already done, and I had practically signed for Barca. That's true. But my father told me that Madrid had called us and I had to make a decision.
"Barca came to me, and I always said they were a great club and that I had a lot of respect for them. But Madrid was my dream, and my decision was easy. When the time came, we did what we had to do."
