Real Madrid are set to tie Vinicius Junior to a long-term deal, with the Brazilian star turning down an "astronomical bid" to move to Saudi Arabia. Manchester United's Jadon Sancho could be offered an escape route to Germany as Bayer Leverkusen are interested in taking him back to the Bundesliga, and The Red Devils have taken steps to sign Jonathan Tah but face competition for the defender.

Vinicius rejects offer from Saudi
Vinicius Junior has rejected an "astronomical bid" from the Saudi Pro League to renew his contract with Real Madrid.
The Brazil international had been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia but will instead reportedly put pen to paper to extend his stay at Los Blancos.
"Real Madrid superstar Vinicius Junior has snubbed an astronomical bid from Saudi Arabia to renew his contract at Santiago Bernabeu," reads the article in The Sun.
"Vinicius, 24, has received interest from the Saudi Pro League the last few months with his current deal at Real set to expire in two years.
"According to AS, however, the star forward is not leaving Madrid despite being offered a whopping €1 billion (£846 million) contract from Saudi chiefs that would run until 2030.
"Instead, the Brazil international has agreed to put pen to paper on a new deal with the Spanish giants that will see him making a staggering €100m (£85m) in the next five years.
"Vinicius is expected to pen his new contract at the end of the season, before the Club World Cup.
"And the Brazilian's new deal will come into effect immediately, instead of 2027 when his current contract runs out."

Leverkusen offer Sancho 'escape route'
Bayer Leverkusen are prepared to offer Jadon Sancho an "escape route" from England.
The Sun claims Sancho is set for a return to Manchester United, with Chelsea prepared to back out of an obligation to sign the winger permanently.
That could open the door for a move to Germany, with Leverkusen keen to capture his signature.
"Jadon Sancho could get an escape route back to the Bundesliga - if he is willing to take a wage drop and cut-price pay-off," the article reads.
"Sancho is facing a red-faced return to Manchester United, as Chelsea want to back out of the obligation to buy agreed when he joined them on a season-long loan last summer.
"Bayer Leverkusen are keen to offer him the lifeline of a third spell in Germany and sources say United would do business for little more than £20 million.
"But Sancho’s chances of a move also rest on him taking a hefty drop from his £250,000-a-week Old Trafford salary.
"While Leverkusen, who are losing boss Xabi Alonso at the end of the season, could afford the fee, his present wages are way beyond them."

Man Utd make moves for Tah
Manchester United have made moves to sign Jonathan Tah - but will face competition to land the defender.
The Red Devils have contacted Tah’s representatives, according to a report in the Mirror, and the race is now on to sign the Bayer Leverkusen player.
The report reads: "Manchester United are ready to battle with Bayern Munich for the services of Jonathan Tah. The Bayer Leverkusen defender will be a free agent this summer and won't be short of offers.
"United have held talks with Tah's agent Pini Zahavi about a move to the Premier League and are confident of landing the 29-year-old, who tasted Bundesliga success with Leverkusen last season.
"Bayern, as has been the case for decades, have often looked to land their rivals' top talent and they now want to sign Tah when his time at the BayArena ends. They see him as a replacement for Eric Dier, who will leave for Monaco this summer.
"The German defender is willing to ramp up negotiations with The Red Devils if they land a spot in next season's Champions League, which would need them to beat Tottenham in the Europa League final later this month."
