Chelsea keen on Liga breakout star Uche

Christantus Uche only moved to Getafe from the Spanish third division this summer, but Chelsea are already taking an interest.
The 21-year-old has impressed with his versatility, and he could be lined up for a future deal.
The Express reports: "Chelsea have reportedly enquired about La Liga youngster Christantus Uche just months after his bargain move to Getafe.
“The 21-year-old has taken everyone by surprise this season, taking the step up from the Spanish third division in his stride and proving effective in a brand new position. Uche made his name as a midfielder but Getafe boss Jose Bordalas has deployed him just about everywhere this season, including as an out-and-out centre-forward.
“Only five months have passed and Chelsea already want a piece of the action.
“Uche signed a life-changing four-year contract upon joining Getafe but that deal is said to include an affordable release clause. The Nigerian is reportedly 'loved' by his team-mates and focused on continuing to progress in Spain, though Chelsea's promise of long-term contracts has swayed plenty of other talented prospects.”

Acheampong frozen out at Chelsea

Josh Acheampong’s contract talks at Chelsea have stalled, leading the club to leave him out of games for the first team and development squad.
The 18-year-old defender’s contract is on course to expire in 2026, and Chelsea want him to stay.
The Athletic states: “Chelsea’s highly-rated teenage defender Josh Acheampong has been told he will not play for the club’s first team or development squad until he signs a new contract.
“Acheampong’s current deal expires in 2026 and the club have opened talks over an extension to secure his long-term future, but nothing has been finalised yet.
“The Athletic has been told by multiple sources with knowledge of the situation, who spoke anonymously to protect relationships, that Acheampong’s omission is due to the contract talks stalling and the club have told him the situation will not change unless he extends.
“It was reported last week that Acheampong, who can also play at centre back, is already being targeted by other high-profile clubs over a January transfer, but Chelsea do not want to sell. They are still planning for negotiations to resume and remain optimistic that the situation can be resolved.”

Kent linked with Rangers return

Ryan Kent was let go by Fenerbahce in order to avoid a hearing at the Court of Arbitration for Sport, according to the Daily Mail.
He has now been linked with a potential return to former club Rangers when the January transfer window opens.
The paper claims: “Ryan Kent's contract at Fenerbahce was cancelled by mutual consent after the Turkish club became aware that his situation was heading to the Court of Arbitration for Sport over his treatment.
“The 27-year old forward had been forced to train alone after falling out with previous coach Ismail Kartal, even undertaking gym sessions on his own.
“The club’s board backed Kartal and Kent continued to be ostracised under new boss Jose Mourinho.
“Kent had interest from the likes of Leeds United, Ipswich Town and Ajax in the summer while there is a clamour among Rangers fans for him to return to Ibrox to train initially with the hope he signs for them as a free agent when the transfer window opens in January.”

Liverpool set to ditch Nike for AdidAS

Liverpool are set to return to wearing Adidas-manufactured kits from next season.
The Reds' current deal with Nike comes to an end this summer and the club has reportedly signed a multi-year deal with the German sportswear giant once more having previously worn the three stripes over two spells between 1985 and 1996 and again from 2006 to 2012.
The Mirror writes: "Liverpool are set to return to wearing Adidas kits next season after agreeing a deal worth in excess of ÂŁ60m-a-year with the German sports manufacturing giants.
"The Reds will wear Adidas brands as part of a multi-year deal - which will be a record for the club - as their Nike contract comes to an end this summer. Liverpool have not worn Adidas kits for 13 years after stints with Warrior, New Balance and Nike.
"The length of the deal is not known but it is believed to be long term. Both Nike and Puma had been keen to land deals with the club. But it is Adidas, who have landed another major Premier League football brand."
