Villa will resist Rogers offers

Aston Villa will resist the temptation to sell Morgan Rogers this month, according to the Mail.
Rogers, who scored 14 goals and contributed 15 assists this season, is going nowhere, it seems, despite interest from Chelsea and Arsenal.
However, the outlet claims Villa will be forced to move players on this summer, due to profitability and sustainability regulations.
The article reads: "Aston Villa are braced for further interest in Morgan Rogers this summer but have no plans to cash in on their England international at this stage.
"Chelsea are known admirers of the 22-year-old, who is close friends with Blues forward Cole Palmer, while Arsenal are also in the market for a wide player and are monitoring developments closely.
"As things stand, however, Mail Sport understands Villa intend to resist offers for Rogers, even though they will sanction player sales before the end June to ensure they comply with Premier League spending rules.
"A year ago, the departure of Douglas Luiz to Juventus guaranteed Villa would meet profitability and sustainability regulations and between now and June 30 there could be a similarly significant sale.
"Leon Bailey is no longer regarded a key man by Unai Emery and has admirers in the Saudi Pro League, while it is thought Jacob Ramsey would be available for about £40million.
"Meanwhile, Emery is keen to keep Lucas Digne but the Frenchman has only one year remaining on his deal and has yet to be offered a new one, amid interest from Atletico Madrid."

Spurs open to selling Son

The Times reports that Tottenham are open to the idea of selling their captain Son Heung-min.
Son, who has one year left on his contract, is said to be attracting interest from the Saudi Pro League and Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahce.
"Tottenham Hotspur are willing to sell Son Heung-min, but he is highly unlikely to leave before the club’s lucrative pre-season tour to his native South Korea in August," reads the report.
"This summer will realistically be the last opportunity for Tottenham to generate a transfer fee for Son, who earns £200,000 a week and turns 33 next month, while Thomas Frank is keen to revamp his squad after his appointment as head coach.
"Clubs in Saudi Arabia are keen to attract stars from certain countries this summer, in part to help them sell television rights to international audiences, including in the Far East.
"Son would also command a premium because of the rules in the Asian Champions League that require at least one of the six foreign players in a starting line-up to be from another Asian country. Son has been linked with Al-Hilal, the Saudi Pro League runners-up now coached by Simone Inzaghi, and Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr, who finished third.
"Son, who has scored 173 goals in 454 games for Spurs, previously rejected advances from Saudi Arabia but is said to be more open to leaving the club."

Liverpool want £50m for Nunez amid Napoli interest

Liverpool want at least £50 million for striker Darwin Nunez amid interest from Napoli, according to Metro.
Nunez, who has hit 40 goals in three seasons since joining Liverpool in 2022, has long been linked with a move away from Anfield.
But The Reds will not allow the Uruguay international to leave on the cheap.
"Darwin Nunez is ready to accept a transfer offer to leave Liverpool but the Premier League champions are asking for at least £50m for the striker," states the outlet.
"Liverpool fielded offers for Nunez during the January transfer window but did not want to risk unsettling a squad that was on course to win the Premier League.
"But Arne Slot is open to selling Nunez this summer, especially if the sale boosts his own transfer kitty and allows him to bring more new signings to the club.
"Nunez is one of the players expected to make way and has emerged as a target for several clubs in Saudi Arabia and Europe.
"According to Gianluca di Marzio, Napoli have identified Nunez as a top target and the Uruguay international is ‘open’ to joining the Serie A champions.
"Napoli have already sealed an impressive deal for Manchester City hero Kevin De Bruyne and now want to add Nunez to Antonio Conte’s squad in Naples."
