Chelsea and Manchester United could do battle for teenage Bayern Munich striker Mathys Tel, and while Arsenal are also keen on the player, they will also bid a second time for Aston Villa forward Ollie Watkins. Elsewhere, Juventus are targeting West Ham defender Jean-Clair Todibo despite his injury, as well as Chelsea midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka.

Man Utd ready for Tel loan deal
Manchester United would be keen on a loan deal for Bayern Munich forward Mathys Tel if a deal can be done.
While United are focussed on trimming the squad, they are interested in adding firepower up front.
The Athletic writes: "Manchester United are interested in a potential move for Bayern Munich forward Mathys Tel, should the 19-year-old be made available to leave on loan before the transfer window closes.
"The Premier League club are not actively progressing the situation while they focus on departures, but signing Tel on a temporary basis carries appeal at Old Trafford. Contact so far has been with Tel’s representatives, rather than with Bayern.
"Head coach Ruben Amorim is keen to add reinforcements this month with a broad agreement already reached for the signing of full-back Patrick Dorgu from Lecce.
"Tel is another option being considered by United but there would need to be further outgoings for any move to go forward. Antony left the club on loan to Real Betis last week. Marcus Rashford is another available for loan this month while winger Alejandro Garnacho has been the subject of interest from Chelsea and Napoli."
Arsenal and Chelsea also target Tel
Arsenal and Chelsea are also monitoring Tel’s situation at Bayern Munich, but the Independent reports a key detail.
According to the paper, Arsenal would much prefer to do a permanent deal rather than just loan the teenager.
The outlet explains: "Arsenal and Chelsea are investigating a move for Bayern Munich's Mathys Tel, as a number of clubs have been alerted by his intention to leave the Bundesliga side.
"Manchester United are also monitoring the situation, though a significant issue The Gunners must overcome is whether a loan with an option to buy is possible. Fewer clubs would be interested if it is just a loan without an option to buy.
"While Tel is understood to only want to go to a club where he will be guaranteed a certain number of minutes. A lack of regular football is the primary reason he has pushed to leave Bayern during this January window before the deadline, with the Bavarian giants now discussing what to do next."
Juve want PL duo
The Sun reports that Serie A giants Juventus are keen to bring two players in from the Premier League.
They could sign Carney Chukwuemeka after he struggled for minutes at Chelsea, and West Ham defender Jean-Clair Todibo.
The paper writes: "Juventus are in talks to sign Chelsea midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka and are also considering a move for West Ham's Jean-Clair Todibo.
"Chukwuemeka, 21, joined The Blues from Aston Villa for £15 million in 2022 but has struggled for game time at Stamford Bridge.
"He has only played five times this season, with four appearances coming in the Conference League.
"West Ham signed Todibo, 25, on loan with an obligation to buy from Nice in the summer and do not want to lose the Frenchman this month.
"The Hammers have just three senior central defenders and want to add at the back before the window closes on Monday."
Arsenal ready second Watkins bid
After having their initial offer for Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins rejected, Arsenal will likely return with another bid.
The 29-year-old has been identified as the prime option to add goals to The Gunners’ line-up.
The Mail states: "Arsenal have launched a stunning swoop for Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins ahead of next week’s transfer deadline.
"Gunners boss Mikel Arteta is a long-term admirer of the England international and the club have now moved for the 29-year-old.
"It is understood Arsenal have made an initial offer for Watkins which has been rejected but an improved attempt is expected.
"Watkins still has three years to run on his existing deal at Villa Park and is a key player for Unai Emery’s side.
"However, a move to Arsenal may appeal to Watkins, who has admitted he grew up as an Arsenal fan."
