Manchester City and Liverpool are both waiting in the wings for Bayern Munich star Jamal Musiala, while Serie A champions Napoli will not compromise on any deal to sell Victor Osimhen to Chelsea. Elsewhere, Arsenal may lose midfielder Jorginho on a free transfer at the end of the season, and Eric Dier will now stay on at his current side Bayern Munich.

City and Liverpool keen on Musiala

Liverpool and Manchester City lead the race to sign Bayern Munich star Jamal Musiala.
The attacking midfielder has reportedly rejected the offer of a new contract in Germany and hopes to move on this summer.
“Jamal Musiala has rejected a new deal at Bayern Munich - as he targets a summer move to the Premier League,” the Mirror reports.
“Manchester City and Liverpool, as revealed last month, head the queue for Musiala after both English clubs made recent scouting trips to watch the German international against Bayer Leverkusen.
“At that time Bayern's £150,000-a-week new contract offer for midfielder Musiala was still on the table. But he has since informed the Bundesliga giants he will not be signing it - fuelling speculation he will leave the club in July.
“City were made aware of that decision last week and are increasingly confident of winning the battle for the much-coveted Musiala, who only turned 21 last week.”

Napoli want huge sum for Osimhen

The Evening Standard reports that Napoli want the £113 million release clause for Victor Osimhen paid in full.
Chelsea are said to want to sign the Nigerian striker, and his Italian club are in no mood to compromise.
“Napoli will demand the full £113million release clause in any sale for Chelsea target Victor Osimhen this summer,” the paper writes.
“Chelsea are searching for a new striker, and Osimhen is among the prime candidates being considered.
“Aurelio De Laurentiis, Napoli's president, admitted yesterday he 'cannot stop' the Nigerian from leaving, but he is regarded as one of the toughest negotiators and will not accept even £1m less than the full clause agreed in a contract signed in December.
“Chelsea will find it challenging to spend such a sum, especially if they fail to qualify for Europe for the second consecutive season, with a centre-back and left-back also being targeted.”

Jorginho set to leave Arsenal

Arsenal could see experienced midfielder Jorginho leave at the end of the current season.
The Italian is close to the end of his contract and he is tempted by a return to Brazil, reports The Sun.
The paper states: “Arsenal could wave goodbye to one of their stand-out performers at the end of the season.
“Jorginho, who is out of contract in the summer, has been linked with a move away from North London.
“The Italian has been exceptional for Mikel Arteta's side in recent months earning himself Man of the Match awards in huge games against Liverpool and Newcastle.
“But with his contract nearing an end at the Emirates stadium, the 32-year-old could be heading back to his home country in the summer.”

Dier to join Bayern for further year

Tottenham defender Eric Dier will remain with Bayern Munich for another year after his contract clauses were triggered.
He had joined on loan for six months but will now convert that deal into a permanent one, according to the Independent.
The outlet says: “Eric Dier will remain at Bayern Munich for another season after a pre-agreed clause was met, the Bundesliga giants have said.
“The 30-year-old joined Bayern on loan from Tottenham Hotspur in January and has made seven appearances.
“With Dier’s Spurs contract set to expire on June 30, an option to make his transfer permanent if he played a certain number of games was included in the deal.
“Dier had made only four appearances for Spurs this season, three of them off the bench, before following former team-mate Harry Kane to Germany.”
