Fred is no longer a Manchester United player after Turkish outfit Fenerbahce thrashed out a deal to sign the 30-year-old Brazil international. Fred joined The Red Devils from Ukraine side Shakhtar Donetsk in 2018, being signed by former United boss Jose Mourinho for a £47 million transfer fee. He never fully lived up to that price tag in the Premier League.

Fred’s time at Manchester United has come to an end, with the midfielder signing a deal with Fenerbahce worth a reported €10 million plus €5m in add-ons.
The Brazilian arrived at Old Trafford during the Jose Mourinho era in 2018.
Mourinho spent £47 million to sign Fred from Shakhtar Donetsk, but he never lived up to that price tag.
He featured under five managers during his time with The Red Devils - Mourinho, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Michael Carrick, Ralf Rangnick and Erik ten Hag.
Fred featured prominently during Ten Hag’s first season in charge of the club last term, making 56 appearances across all competitions.
Despite being a regular member of the squad, Fred was informed by Ten Hag that he could look for a new club.
With a year to run on his contract, United were keen to secure a fee for the 30-year-old and Fenerbahce beat off competition from the likes of Fulham and fellow Turkish side Galatasaray to his signature.
The Brazilian described his time at Old Trafford as "a true dream" in a social media post.
"Today ends one of the most beautiful stages of my career," he said. "I lived the dream of wearing the shirt of one of the biggest clubs in the world.
"Going through ups and downs, I leave with the conviction that I always gave my best during all training sessions and games.
"It was five years of a true dream for me and my family. I will be forever grateful for the opportunity. Forever a Red."
Fred began his career at Internacional in his native Brazil, making his professional debut in 2012.
One season later he made the move to Shakhtar, and spent five years with the Ukraine club.
He won the title in Ukraine on three occasions, while he secured one piece of silverware with United - the Carabao Cup in 2023.

The Brazilian now hopes to lift more trophies in Turkey during this next phase of his career.
"I am very happy to come to Turkey's biggest club with such a great history. I want to be a part of this history too," Fred told Fenerbahce's website.
"My first impressions are very good and positive. Everyone at the club made me feel very welcome. I was extra happy for that too.
"I also want to play big by doing my best, win all the trophies and contribute to all successes. Of course, I want to make the fans happy.
"Now I will play for Fenerbahce fans on this field here. I cannot wait for this.
"Fenerbahce fans started to support me even before I came here. I will do my best. Let no one doubt that."
