LIVERPOOL KEEP THEIR FA CUP DREAMS ALIVE WITH A DOMINANT WIN AT WOLVES
Mohamed Salah, Andy Robertson and Curtis Jones were all on target as Liverpool booked their spot in the FA Cup quarter-finals with a convincing 3-1 victory at Wolves.
Arne Slot’s visitors dominated the first half but could not find the breakthrough despite the best efforts of the lively Rio Ngumoha, who was a constant threat in a rare start from the left.
The Merseysiders had suffered a last-gasp 2-1 Premier League loss at Molineux just three days earlier, but ensured lightning wouldn’t strike twice with two goals in 95 seconds following the restart.
First, Andy Robertson scorched a brilliant 20-yard drive into the far corner before the Scot crossed for Salah to fire home from close range.

Substitute Hwang Hee-Chan grabbed a stoppage-time consolation for the hosts but it is Slot and co who will be in the hat for the last eight, with ties due to take place on the weekend of April 4.
Next up, Liverpool visit Galatasaray in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League last 16 tie on Tuesday before hosting Tottenham in the Premier League on Sunday. Wolves visit Brentford a week on Monday.

MICHAEL OWEN HAILS THE IMPACT OF RIO NGUMOHA
"He's direct, which is a great asset to have," said Owen on TNT Sports at Molineux. "He can go either way. Look at someone like Gakpo, he cuts in an awful lot and that can be predictable. Whereas Rio can go either way at pace, he is direct and can handle it really well."
On Liverpool's win overall: "A lot better second half. Liverpool dominated totally and never had to resort to bringing on Ekitike. That will please Arne Slot, giving him a good rest with big games coming up."

TNT SPORTS' ALLY MCCOIST SUMS UP LIVERPOOL'S FA CUP WIN AT WOLVES
"Without doubt (Liverpool were full value for the win). A comfortable night, almost a perfect night, well it was a perfect night for Arne Slot after the disappointment of Tuesday.
"Some good goals, particularly down the left-hand side. I thought they were excellent down the left-hand side, Robertson and young Ngumoha. They were different class, some good goals, some good finishes.
"Van Dijk came off, Konate came on, Wirtz came on and obviously Ekitike got a full rest. Just a perfect night (for Liverpool) really."
