CORNER TO EVERTON
Gomes turns his marker inside out before feeding the run of Gray. Considering the form he's in, the Everton forward ought to shoot first time but instead takes a touch and Hull force the corner.

HULL STAND FIRM
Gray makes a lovely run down the left and rolls a dangerous cross into the middle. Rondon tries to hold it up inside the box but takes a poor touch and allows the ball to get away from him.

EVERTON PATIENT IN POSSESSION
The visitors have settled down after a frenetic start and they appear to be in control at this stage of the game. Another goal would probably be enough.

HULL FINISH HALF ON TOP
The hosts win a free-kick in a similar position to where they created their opener. This time Honeyman's delivery is too close to Begovic who punches it clear. Docherty tries his luck from distance but it's never troubling the Everton goalkeeper.

GORDON MISSES!
Sloppy play from Hull as they concede possession in midfield. Rondon plays in Gordon but he slips as he goes to shoot and blazes his shot well over the bar. That could and maybe should have been 3-1.

A long throw-in causes problems for Everton. They can only partially clear as Mykolenko's shot is blocked before Docherty forces Begovic into another good save.

GOAL! HULL 1-2 EVERTON (Andre Gomes)
Everton have turned this around! It's very simple as they overload the right flank, Kenny is in acres of space to stand up an excellent cross and Gomes attacks it with a bullet header and the net bulges.

SAVE ON KEANE!
Everton have switched into a higher gear and are really pushing for a second. Gordon plays in Keane of all people, his shot lacks conviction - it's a defender's finish - and Baxter can easily push it wide.

NO PENALTY!
Everton knocking on the door now. Gordon's shot appears to hit the arm of Greaves but Kevin Friend is not interested. And as this is a Championship ground there is no VAR available.

GOAL! HULL 1-1 EVERTON (Demarai Gray)
Everton are level with their first moment of real quality! Gray is quickly closed down as he receives the ball on the left flank. With a clever bit of footwork, he's past his marker and after playing a one-two with Gordon he slots the ball past the helpless Hull goalkeeper.
