Pogba is booked for bringing down Jones on the left, and it's a free kick in a dangerous position for Liverpool.

OFF THE POST! United were almost home. Fernandes picks out Cavani with a brilliant cross, and he smashes a powerful header off the far post and out.

United almost carve out an opportunity to win the match on the break, but Martial doesn't read Pogba's dummy and the ball trickles through to Alisson.

It's all Liverpool, who are moving the ball all over the pitch to try and force an opening. Rashford has limped off for United, and is replaced by Anthony Martial.

Shaqiri almost picks out Mane with a through pass but a superb sliding interception by Wan-Bissaka puts the ball out for a corner. We're in for a frenetic ten minutes here, I'd say.

A reaction from Liverpool here, as Divock Origi and Xherdan Shaqiri come on for Firmino and Thiago.

Cometh the hour! United's talisman restores United's lead, curling the ball to the goalkeeper's side and into the bottom corner, with Pogba ducking under the shot just in time. This is a superb cup tie, and United lead again!

Fabinho goes through the back of Cavani right on the edge of the area, and it's a free kick in a central position for United.

CHANCE! Firmino and Salah are linking up superbly today. The former finds the latter again, but the shot from the edge of the box is straight at Henderson.

Pogba carries the ball from halfway, all the way down the right and into the Liverpool area. It's a great run, but he then chips his cross straight into the hands of Alisson.

Liverpool are in control here, playing a lot of short passes around the United area. Firmino lays a ball off to Thiago, who slashes a volley high over the bar.

Mane catches Fred with a late challenge. He studs were ever so slightly up and it's a yellow card. That looked the right decision as both players went hard at a fifty-fifty.

BIG CHANCE! Firmino releases Salah through on goal on the right of United's area. He gets in close and shoots, but Henderson saves well to deny Salah a hat-trick.

A double change for United, as Fred and Bruno Fernandes replace Van de Beek and Greenwood.

Liverpool have taken this over since United scored in the second half, and Thiago is starting to run things. It won't be long before we see Fernandes for United, you'd think.

Liverpool are going for it, and Sadio Mane replaces Wijnaldum.

CHANCE! Liverpool work the ball to ALexander-Arnold in space on the right, and from a tight angle he warms both of Henderson's hands with a stinging drive that is parried out for a corner.
