Doncaster earn the first corner of the match but the left-wing delivery is easily nodded to safety by Ayew.

Donny are pressing high. Hennessey has had a lot the ball at his feet with Palace still to settle.

STAT: A Palace win would see Roy Hodgson equal his best ever run in the cup as a manager. He reached the quarter finals with Fulham in 2009 and 2010 respectively.

Lots of hustle and bustle early on but little in terms of creativity in the attacking third. Doncaster have started well.

FORM: Doncaster have won 12 and lost just two of their last 18 matches in all competitions. They have not lost at home since October.
Meanwhile, Palace have won five of their last seven away matches in this competition, losing just once.

HEAD-TO-HEAD: Palace have won just one of their last seven meetings with Doncaster, losing on three occasions. The Premier League side's last victory over Rovers came in a thumping 5-1 away-day success in the fourth tier of the football league way back in 1960! However, this is the first ever FA Cup clash between the teams.

DID YOU KNOW? Palace last lost an FA Cup side against a team two divisions lower was in the third round back in 1993.

Palace manager Roy Hodgson: "Now, more than ever, you need to be wary in these sort of games. If you lose to a lower league team, it is seen as a giant-killing. If we had lost to Tottenham, no-one would have batted an eyelid."

Doncaster boss Grant McCann: "We won't change the way we play.... I'd be mad to try to sit behind the ball against Crystal Palace and let them have the ball. If it's good enough, then great. If it's not, at least we gave it a good go."

STAT: This is Donny's first appearance in the FA Cup fifth round since 1956 when they went down 2-0 at home to Spurs. It is the fifth time they have reached this stage of the competition, but have never gone further. Their last FA Cup victory over a top-flight team was back in 1985.

James Coppinger aka Mr Doncaster is relishing the prospect of this afternoon's tie: “It has been 63 years since we last reached the fifth round of the FA Cup. It’s a massive opportunity and I can’t emphasise enough how important it is that we’re at home."

It's just the two changes from Tuesday's 3-0 league victory over Southend. Matty Blair and Alfie May coming in for Aaron Lewis and Mallik Wilks respectively.

Roy Hodgson has made six changes to his side for this afternoon's cup tie. The big news is that with Wilfried Zaha out through suspension, Michy Batshuayi makes his first start for the club.
