The holders Chelsea are safely through to the fifth round of the FA Cup with this comfortable 3-0 victory over Sheffield Wednesday.

The Blues are cruising into Monday night's draw for the fifth round. Willian plays a lovely give-and-go with Giroud before opening up his body and curling the ball into the top corner from the edge of the penalty area, leaving Westwood helpless.

CHELSEA SUB: The match is run for Higuain who fails to mark his debut with a goal, though there were signs of encouragement from the veteran. He is replaced by Olivier Giroud.

Wednesday continue to chase shadows. They have worked so hard today without seeing much of the ball but they aren't going to get any reward.

He has certainly made an impression.

CHELSEA SUB: Ruben Loftus-Cheek, another player who needs more game time, replaces Ampadu.

Who else but Hudson-Odoi? The man who has reportedly handed in a transfer request doubles Chelsea's advantage. Kovacic dinks a lovely ball over the top, it's a great first touch from the 18-year-old who then checks onto his left foot and slots the ball past Westwood. A message to Sarri?

WIDE! Ampadu floats a cross into the penalty box, Higuain rises like a salmon but doesn't get the direction in his header to trouble Westwood.

Bannan's delivery is dreadful, however. His cross is straight into the arms of Caballero. What a waste!

Reach does brilliantly well to take down a switched-pass and force a corner. Finally, something for the Wednesday fans to get excited about.

Or something like that... the game has really been starved of any quality.

Kovacic loses out to Fletcher but he's dispossessed by a wonderful challenge, as a rare Wednesday attack collapses.
