Hello and welcome to Eurosport's live commentary of the FA Cup Semi-Final between Chelsea and Southampton. This is Ryan Bailey (@ryanjaybailey) taking you through all the action from Wembley Stadium. Kick off is 15.00, team news to follow shortly. ÿÿ

Southampton were last at this stage of the competiton in 2003. They beat Watford 2-1 at Villa Park, but ultimately lost to Arsenal at the Millennium Stadium courtesy of a Robert Pires goal.

Today will mark Chelsea's 18th appearance at the new Wembley Stadium - a record for any club who aren't using it as their home ground.

Mark Hughes: "It's not every season you get the opportunity to get to a major cup final. It's the greatest cup competition in the world in my view.

"In some people's minds maybe the competition has been diminished since the emergence of the Champions League and Premier League, but to be involved in major cup finals is where you make your mark in the game and it's where you need to be.

"It's an opportunity to get to a major final and we are going there to make sure we don't let it pass by."

Antonio Conte: "We must have great motivation to finish the season as strong as possible.

"Now we have this chance to play at Wembley, we have the possibility to win the game against Southampton and play an important final for the second time in a row. We have to try to do our best."

Chelsea have won their last five straight matches with Southampton to an aggregate scoreline of 12-5.

These sides, of course, met just eight days ago when the Saints conspired to fashion a 2-0 lead into a 3-2 defeat.

Today, a chance to face Manchester United in the FA Cup FInal is at stake. For Southampton, it could mean a Wigan-esque cup-and-relegation double, while Antonio Conte might be keen to leave the Blues with a shiny parting gift.

The Saints opt for two strikers, with Jan Bednarek - who scored on his league debut against Chelsea last week - starting, while James Ward-Prowse and Dusan Tadic drop to the bench.

Emerson and Olivier Giroud both earn a start for Chelsea, with Willy Caballero continuing his cup duties between the sticks.
