There was a big result up at the top of the table last night when title-chasing Juventus were held to a surprising draw at home to Empoli after going down to 10 men.

However, they are down in ninth at the moment, five points behind Atalanta in fourth. Lazio sit two points ahead in sixth, so this is a big one for the top-four race in Serie A.

Both sides were away in Saudi Arabia for the Supercoppa Italiana last week, where they suffered the wrath of Internazionale - Lazio losing 3-0 in the semi-finals before Napoli were beaten 1-0 in the final.

The north side of the Olimpico - usually the loudest - will be eerily quiet tonight after Lazio were hit with a partial stadium closure as punishment for racist chants aimed at Romelu Lukaku during their Coppa Italia quarter-final win over rivals AS Roma earlier this month.

Mazzarri has to make do without - *takes a deep breath* - Osimhen, Anguissa (AFCON), Meret, Natan (injury), Kvaratkskhelia, Simeone and Cajuste (suspended).

He has gone for a 3-5-2 formation, with Politano and Raspadori leading the attack.

There are some high-profile absentees for both sides tonight and in Lazio's case, it's talismanic captain Immobile and winger Zaccagni who miss out through suspension.
