Napoli are the better side at the moment and Insigne curls in a free-kick that Maksimovic reaches first ... because he's offside.

We stop to applaud Davide Astori., a year after his tragic death.

It's warming up. Napoli force a corner down the right which Callejon will take...

Poor cross from Hysaj, raiding down the left, but Bonucci can only tap it into the space ahead of him and Zielinski is alive to it seizing onto the ball and fading a low shot just past the far post. That was a fair chance and a fair effort.

Meret, incidentally, is only 21, and Ancelotti says he reminds him a lot of Buffon.

Matuidi wins a corner off Allan and Pjanic swings in the resultant corner; Meret comes, gets the tips of his knuckles on it, enough to take the ball away from Ronaldo for a further corner which comes to nothing. Except Can barges the keeper once he has the ball, and the Napoli defenders are upset.

There's a decent racket coming from the stands, but on the pitch it's been fairly sedate so far. Napoli are playing with energy, but Juve are sitting back when they have the ball which is making it hard for them.
7'
Napoli look up for this, and are moving the ball nicely.
6'
Napoli win a free-kick down the left which Callejon whips in ... Manzukic is there to head out for a throw.
4'
Bernardeschi and Pjanic are there, Ronaldo moves away, and Bernardeschi then taps to Pjanic who wasn't ready. A low shot is driven into the wall, and what a mess that was.
3'
Can galumphs forward and Hysaj places arm on shoulder so Can collapses. Free-kick Juve, edge of the box, far-right of centre...
2'
Milik picks up the ball 40 yards from goal and has Allan alongside, so passes to no one.
1'
Our first violence: Allan take an almighty swing at the ball, misses, and clumps Matuidi.

Away we go!

Chiellini and insigne shake hands, looking like the Krankies.
19:29
Napoli are led out by Lorenzo Insigne, captain now Marek Kamsik has done one.

Here come the teams!

As for Napoli, how do they take things on? They may well lose Koulibaly this summer, though if they do it'll be for a fat fee. Perhaps they need a better striker than Milik and something more in midfield, along with some strength in depth, but how an earth can they go about getting that?

I wasn't especially surprised to see Juve lose to Atleti - get us, nickname terms. They're good but they're not brilliant - in midfield, they don't have enough to kill teams, and in attack, obviously Ronaldo is still good but he's not what he was, Mandzukic is still decent but not elite, and Dybala isn't into it.
