Hello and welcome to Eurosport's live commentary from the Serie A match between home side AC Milan and Inter Milan. This is Nick Royle (@nickaroyle) taking you through all the Derby della Madonnina action from the San Siro.

Bacca overstretches for the ball but Murillo is late on the tackle and referee d'Amato awards a foul 35 yards from goal.

Bacca runs at the Inter defence but Murillo calmly steps out to tackle the in-form Milan striker.

Jovetic and then Eder are unable to get through on the edge of the area. From the clearance, Niang concedes a foul on the halfway line.

Alex makes a great interception to cut out a Perisic pass to Eder from the right channel, following a fine backheel by Jovetic on the halfway line.

Kucka tries an overly-optimistic effort from maybe 35 yards. Milan coach Mihajilovic smiles ruefully.

Jovetic comes back to have a little kick at Montolivo and Milan have a free-kick near the centre circle.

Honda tries to get down the right but Jesus is across to clear. Kucka gets to the right-hand side of the box but Niang is offside and Bonaventura is penalised for a push as Bacca prepares for the overhead kick from Handanovic's save.

It is a really open game of football, between two teams both keen to counter.

Abate clears and tries to find Niang, but the defender overhits the pass and the ball rolls out of play.

Inter break and Brozovic's effort clips off Luca Antonelli for a corner, but Inter are unable to make anything from the set play.

Honda tries to find Bacca in the centre from the right channel but Murillo and Miranda are across to clear.

Kucka and Brozovic square up to each other following a challenge in midfield. Feisty stuff so far at the San Siro.

D'Amato evens up the 'no foul' count as Kucka is pulled down by, I think, Miranda on the edge of the box. Referee waves play on.

SAVE: This is a great start to the match! Milan goalkeeper Gigio Donnarumma is down to his right to beat out a Marcelo Brozovic effort from the edge of the area.

Antonelli pulls down Eder on a diagonal run along the box, but referee Antonio d'Amato says no foul, to the fury of the Inter players!

CHANCE! Juan Jesus puts a peach of a cross to the back post but Eder tries to head back across goal when the goal was gaping!

Eder charges down the right onto Ivan Perisic's pass and crosses for Jovetic but Alex is across to clear the ball for a corner.

Milan seem to be playing 4-4-2, with Inter going for a 4-2-3-1 shape with Eder and Jovetic up front.

Action already on the sidelines with Kondogbia and Melo already warming up for Inter.

Mbaye Niang runs at Santon down the left channel but the former Newcastle right-back shepherds him wide.

Abate floats a cross in, and there are four red and black shirts in the area, but an offside Juraj Kucka heads straight at Samir Handanovic in the Inter goal.
