Pepe has another opportunity literally a split-second later but this time the ball ricochets off Marchetti and back on to Pepe to go out for a goal kick.

GGGOOOAL!!! Juve go right up the other end and take the lead. Pepe dispatches from close range to give Juve the lead following a ferociously quick break. Matri with the enticing ball across the box.

Rocchi springs the offside trap but he just can't get Hernanes' through ball past Buffon. Tremendous save.

Lichtsteiner continues to offer great width for the visitors.

Pirlo finds Pepe down the right, he cuts inside Radu before striking at goal on the run. It dips just in front of Marchetti but he claims easily enough.

This match is being played at a fantastic tempo and, having acclimatised, Lazio are coming into this one. Klose lays off to Rocchi but he drags his effort wide from outside the box.

Hernanes finds Konko with a lovely deft touch but the full-back's cross is blocked. Lazio come again, this time down the left. They work space for Hernanes on the edge of the area but his effort is easily claimed by Buffon.

Hernanes strikes it from distance but it is always rising.

A couple of neat turns from Klose sees Lazio quickly move forward but a clumsy challenge from Barzagli gives the home side a free-kick from thirty yards out.

Great chance for Pepe, he manages to get in behind the Lazio defence but having been found by Pirlo and side-stepping the challenge, he wildly swings at the ball and it goes well wide.

Juve having the better of it but from nowhere Lazio almost take the lead. An incredible dipping effort from Ledesma just drops the wrong side of the post.

Lazio coming back into it now and Buffon makes a wonderful save at the feet of Brocchi. Incredible save and what a game.

What a free-kick from Pirlo - literally swerved left to right a couple of yards. The majesty of that strike.

The visitors win a free-kick some thirty yards out and Pirlo is over it. What an incredible save from Marchetti and somehow Lichtsteiner manages to drag the rebound wide.

Juventus are quicker to the ball all over the pitch.

Juventus are getting all kinds of joy down the right. Pepe crosses for Matri but Stankevicius manages to block.

Vucinic runs at Konko but the full-back gets the tackle in - but the ball is worked to Lichtsteiner on the other wing who beats his man and crosses for Marchisio, who manages to head over from inside the six yard box.

Hernanes intercepts a square ball but leaning back fires well over the bar.

Pirlo really does make this Juve team tick.
