Ethan Nwaneri has committed his long-term future to Arsenal after signing a new five-year deal at the Emirates.
The 18-year-old's initial contract was set to expire next summer, in what was his first professional deal at the club.
Nwaneri enjoyed a breakthrough campaign in north London last season, making 37 appearances across all competitions, scoring nine goals and registering two assists.
After putting pen to paper on fresh terms, he told the club website: "Signing this contract means everything to me. I see this as my first real season in men’s senior football, as part of the squad in the changing room.
"I'm so excited for what I can bring to the team. I want to help us win as much as possible and bring happiness and glory to the club. This is where I feel at home.
"I'm a very versatile player, so I think I'm going to play anywhere across the front five, and I’m ready to do what the manager needs."
Nwaneri has been with The Gunners since the age of eight and is a proud product of the club's prestigious Hale End Academy.
He joins the likes of Bukayo Saka and Myles Lewis-Skelly in having risen through the ranks to the first team.
The attacking midfielder is the youngest player to feature for Arsenal's men's team.
He also holds the record as the youngest player in English top-flight history, aged 15 years and 181 days old when he came off the bench to feature against Brentford in September 2022.

Nwaneri is also in esteemed company alongside Wayne Rooney and Michael Owen as being one of only three players to score three Premier League goals before his 18th birthday.
Aside from his club exploits, the midfielder was part of the England squad which won the UEFA European U21 Championship, making six appearances in the competition as Lee Carsley’s side defeated Germany in the final.
The Arsenal academy production line shows no signs of slowing down either, with 15-year-old Max Dowman producing a series of impressive displays in pre-season.
