Mamardashvili will remain in Spain at Valencia for the remainder of the season before making the move to Merseyside next summer.
Mamardashvili's signing comes following the departure of 37-year-old goalkeeper Adrian, who left the club earlier this summer to rejoin Real Betis in La Liga.
Adrian spent five years at Anfield and left as Liverpool's third choice between the sticks behind No. 1 pick Alisson and back-up Conor Kelleher.
With the likes of Alisson and Kelleher in their ranks, Mamardashvili's signing is understood to be one for the future.

Following his European exploits, Mamardashvili now has 21 Georgia caps to his name after making his debut in 2021.
The shot-stopper began his career at Georgian outfit Dinamo Tbilisi in 2018 but never played for his hometown club and instead had loan spells at FC Rustavi and FC Locomotive Tbilisi from 2019 to 2021.

He racked up 100 games across Spain's domestic competitions, while he also featured in the Supercopa final against Real Madrid where Valencia lost 5-4 on penalties.
During his spell in Spain, the goalkeeper managed 31 clean sheets, while he conceded 112 goals.
