SALAH: LIVERPOOL TITLE ONLY THING ON MY MIND
"The only thing on my mind is I want Liverpool to win the league, and I want to be part of that," said Mohamed Salah on Sky Sports after helping Liverpool extend their lead at the top to eight points.
"I will do my best for the team to win the trophy. There are a few other teams catching up with us, and we need to stay focused and humble and go again.
"I am just trying to enjoy the game. At the end of the day, I came here for the result and I wanted to do something in the game, but I am almost hungry for more.
"I am pleased with the result. To score the goal early, and we dominated the game very well."
The Egypt striker again played down talk of signing a new contract at Anfield, and said: "We are far away from that. I don't want to put anything in the media."

LIVERPOOL MAUL WEST HAM TO EXTEND LEAD AT TOP
Red-hot Liverpool will end the year eight points clear at the top of the Premier League after a majestic Mohamed Salah inspired a 5-0 rout of West Ham United at the London Stadium.
Fine goals from Luis Diaz (30'), Cody Gakpo (40'), Salah (44'), Trent Alexander-Arnold (54') and substitute Diogo Jota (84') helped Arne Slot's men extend their unbeaten run to 23 matches in a one-sided contest that was over at the break.
Salah added a fine third for the visitors a minute before half-time, having also played provider for Gakpo and Jota to finish in equalling the biggest away win of the season in the Premier League: Tottenham's 5-0 mauling of Southampton earlier this month.
It was the eighth time Salah, with 17 goals and 13 assists amid 20 goals overall, has registered a goal and an assist in the top flight, a new Premier League record.
Nottingham Forest moved into second spot in the table with a 2-0 win at Everton earlier on Sunday, but have played one more game than Liverpool, who next host bitter rivals Manchester United at Anfield next Sunday.
West Ham remain in 13th spot before they visit Manchester City on Saturday.
