NEWCASTLE CRUISE TO WIN AT LEICESTER
Three first-half goals - two from Jacob Murphy, in the second and 11th minutes, then one from Harvey Barnes - saw Newcastle United beat Leicester City.
The Foxes have now lost eight league games in a row, scoring in none, and their relegation is a matter of time, while Newcastle, who were excellent, are well-placed to make next season's UEFA Champions League, as they sit in fifth place with a game in hand on the teams around them.
It took Newcastle just two minutes to take the lead, Murphy finishing calmly at the back post after good work from Tino Livramento.
Murphy doubled his tally soon afterwards, Fabian Schar's incredible shot from inside his own half hitting the bar, with Murphy following up as the defence slept.
Then, on 34 minutes, Livramento was again to the fore, teeing up Barnes for a goal against his old club, at which point a massacre seemed possible.
Leicester improved in the second half, while Newcastle eased off - they have bigger games to look forward to, while all The Foxes have is the relief of finally being relegated.

BARNES LEAPS TO WIN A 50-50 AND POWERS THROUGH THE MIDDLE
He spreads to Wilson, carries his run on into the box, and when the low cross duly arrives, punches a shot wide of the near post.

LEICESTER HAVE WON 12 CORNERS TONIGHT
Newcastle two.

A DECENT CORNER!
It picks out Faes in the middle, but the ball skims off his forehead, whizzing wide.

WE'LL HAVE FIVE ADDITIONAL MINUTES
And Monga wins a corner.

NEWCASTLE ARE VERY NICELY PLAYED TO MAKE THE TOP FIVE
But their run-in isn't easy. United at home next, with Villa away, Brighton away, and Chelsea home also on the slate. That Villa match, in particular, should be a treat.

CHANGE FOR NEWCASTLE
It's Krafth for Trippier, who passes the armband to Burn.

THE STANDS ARE EMPTYING FAST
There are still seven more games for Leicester fans to endure; can their team make it to the end of the season without scoring again? It's hard to back against them.

IN FAIRNESS TO LEICESTER THEY'VE BEEN A BIT BETTER SECOND HALF
In fairness to Newcastle, they've managed the game with a 3-0 lead.

THIS TIME THE CORNER GOES SHORT
But Leicester don't seem to have a plan for what to do next. The ball comes in and Newcastle clear.

MAVIDIDI SIDES IN ON TONALI
Who looks to have ridden it but ends up wearing it. It was a fair challenge, plenty of ball before ankle, but he'll take some treatment; when he's up, Leicester have a corner.

LEICESTER WIN YET ANOTHER CORNER
Buonanotte with it, and this time the delivery is slightly better, Pope forced to claw away. I dunno, given how poor they are, why haven't they worked to become nails at set-pieces? Maybe they have, but it doesn't look that way.

MONGA GETS THE BALL DOWN THE RIGHT
And has a run, escaping Barnes, but Livramento is a different proposition and quickly unloads him.
78'
LEICESTER WIN YET ANOTHER CORNER
And Buonanotte pumps it past the back post – the delivery tonight has been nonsense – but it yields another, which comes to nothing.

FIFTEEN YEARS OLD
Where are his Embassy No 1 and K Cider? Pathetic.

DOUBLE CHANGE FOR LEICESTER
Off go Justin and El Khannouss, on come Ricardo and ... Monga! He's the second-youngest player to play in the Prem, after Ethan Nwaneri.

GOODNESS ME
Coady passes straight to Osula, who collects throws lollipops and at Faes as he breezes by on the outside, and lashes a rising shot into the near-post side-netting.
