REPORT: FULHAM RESCUE DRAW AS IPSWICH PAY THE PENALTY
Raul Jimenez scored his second penalty of the day in added time as Fulham held Premier League newcomers Ipswich to a frantic 2-2 draw at Craven Cottage.
Kieran McKenna's well-structured side led 1-0 at half-time courtesy of Sammie Szmodics' finish on 38 minutes as they chased back-to-back league wins for the first time this season following their shock 2-0 victory over Chelsea.
Jimenez levelled from the spot for the home side on 69 minutes after VAR deemed Sam Morsy guilty of a late foul on Harry Wilson.
Liam Delap dramatically restored the lead with his own emphatic penalty two minutes later after Timothy Castagne brought down the former Manchester City forward.
It looked like being the end of Marco Silva's side's seven-match unbeaten run until Jimenez was felled by Leif Davis before picking himself up to convert the spot-kick in the first of seven added minutes.
Ipswich would have moved out of the bottom three with a win, but a draw was probably a fair result as they moved level on 16 points with Wolves in 17th spot.
Fulham remain ninth, two points behind Aston Villa in eighth place.

JIMENEZ DISAPPOINTED WITH DROPPED POINTS
"It is really bad for us, we did everything we could to win the game," said two-goal Fulham forward Raul Jimenez on Sky Sports. "It is two lost points. We need to keep improving starting 2025. I'm really happy to help the team win this point, but we need to keep our score at zero to keep winning games."
