Fulham 1-2 Chelsea - Debutant George and Neto turn Premier League match around and win it for the Blues late on

A good first touch from the Chelsea star but the Fulham defender takes the ball off him imperiously.

James lost the ball on the right flank and Sessegnon drilled a low pass into Iwobi's feet 20 yards from goal and the former Arsenal forward slotted the ball into the corner beyond Sanchez's left hand.

But the striker's turn away from Anderson was a little too far away from him and Leno came out to gather the ball.

And Madueke just couldn't time his jump to meet it. James' follow up cross was also good but no Blue was gambling to get in a position to turn it home.

But Leno was well positioned and saw it all the way into his arms.

The Portuguese flanker was found by a cross-field ball from James and is felled just a few yards outside the left edge of the penalty area.

But there was little conviction in the shot and it was easily saved by the Fulham stopper.

But Sanchez comes out to gather the ball.

But his shot is well wide of the far post.

Iwobi had a chance which he put just wide of the goal and Sessegnon, who initially headed across the box, put it back across the six-yard area for Pereira to tap into the net. Sessegnon was offside earlier in the move though.

With Arsenal securing the Premier League a fifth Champions League spot, the Blues will fancy their chances of grabbing a place and a win today will bring them within a point behind fourth-place Manchester City.

Fulham, in ninth, are six points behind their seventh-placed opponents and will leapfrog Bournemouth and aid their cause of a first European adventure in 13 years.

Fulham are 2/1 shot, the draw slightly bigger and Chelsea are approaching 6/4.

Rodrigo Muniz, who scored the injury-time winner on Boxing Day, drops out from the starting XI who played against Bournemouth and is not in the squad today. Raul Jiminez starts up front.

The Chelsea skipper moves back from midfield to his original position with Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez playing in the centre of the park.

His Chelsea spell isn’t remembered as much as his time at Bayern but the little Dutchman was a star during his time at the Bridge, helping the Blues to their first league title in the modern era.

Rodrigo Muniz’s late strike gave Fulham victory when the team’s met on Boxing Day at Stamford Bridge, breaking a run of three straight wins for the Blues.
