33'
CORNER, CHELSEA
A Madueke inswinger causes a penalty box melee, and Sancho dances on the corner of the six-yard box before trying to slide a low cross in with his left. Coufal blocks. Corner.
31'
CLOSE!
The best chance of the game so far as Kudus' loose ball out to the left is into the path of Madueke, who darts beyond Emerson with ease, and he finds Enzo Fernandez, who supports with a driving run. The Argentine bursts into the box, but he screws his shot wide of the far post!
30'
JACKSON BACK ON
The Senegalese sprints back on, and the stripped Marc Guiu sits back down for the moment.
27'
JACKSON DOWN
Nicolas Jackson is feeling his hamstring, and he needs some attention.
25'
NEAT PLAY
Chelsea work the ball nicely from side to side as Sancho and Madueke both look threatening. Madueke works it infield to the supporting James, who swings a cross in. It's met by the onrushing Cucurella, who nods well wide.
23'
COLWILL LUCKY
Levi Colwill plays a poor pass across to Tosin, which is seized upon by Bowen, who would have had just the Chelsea centre-back to take on, but the play is brought back for a foul on Colwill by Kudus.
20'
CLOSE!
The first corner results in Bowen trying to catch out Jorgensen at the near post, but the Dane saves and concedes another set play. The second comes out to Irving, who takes it on the volley, but he lashes a left-footed effort into the stand.
18'
CORNER, WEST HAM
Wan-Bissaka goes on the outside of Cucurella and looks to swing a cross in, but it's dealt with well by Colwill. Corner though, which Cresswell will look to deliver dangerously into the mix.
16'
CLOSE!
Caicedo nicks it off Bowen, and feeds Jackson, who drives through the centre. He looks wide right for Madueke, and the England winger cuts inside onto his stronger left, and he goes for the far corner, and he's not far away.
15'
TOUGH WATCH?
It's been a turgid opening quarter of an hour in west London, with both sides trying to figure the other out.
However, here come Chelsea...
13'
FREE KICK, CHELSEA
Reece James is down and looks in pain, following an awkward landing after a collision between him and Emerson under a high ball.
10'
UNCERTAINTY FROM JORGENSEN
Soler makes a good run down the West Ham right, and Cresswell is on the underlap to cross. Jorgensen claims the delivery, but not before a momentary fumble.
8'
FREE KICK, WEST HAM
The referee gives a foul on Tomas Soucek, and the chance goes begging.
7'
CLEVER MOVEMENT
Sancho and Cucurella combine to set up Palmer in the left channel, and the Chelsea attacking midfielder's cross is blocked.
Corner, which James is over.
5'
HAMMERS ON THE FRONT FOOT
West Ham have not turned up simply to park the bus. They're dropping into a mid block for the most part, but they will go hunting on the press when certain triggers are pulled.
They're keen to get at Chelsea, who are dominating the ball in the early exchanges.

TACTICAL OBSERVATIONS
It seems as though the visitors want to swamp the midfield area, with Kudus and Soler both dropping in to create almost a six behind Bowen.
As for Chelsea, it seems that Caicedo will be the sitter, breaking up play, while Fernandez has more freedom to support attacking moves.

WEST HAM TEAM ANALYSIS
As for the visitors, they're in a classic Graham Potter shape, as they continue to get more acclimatised to the former Brighton and Chelsea manager's style of play.
The headline inclusion is that of club captain Jarrod Bowen, who starts up top in his first appearance of the new calendar year following a foot injury.
The other big news from a Hammers perspective is the selection of 24-year-old Scot Andy Irving, who get his first start in claret and blue in the centre of the park.
There are some notable absentees, however, with Lucas Paqueta and Edson Alvarez the main two, while Jean-Clair Todibo is another.
In goal, Alphonse Areola looks to have displaced Lukasz Fabianski once more, and it is a back three that consists of two natural full-backs - Emerson and Vladimir Coufal - either side of Max Kilman at the heart of the trio, who will be tasked with stewarding the lively Jackson.
Irving is partnered by the reliable and dangerous Tomas Soucek, who is moved into a deeper role, while Aaron Wan-Bissaka and former Chelsea wing-back Emerson will keep the width.
In the two no. 10 positions, Mohammed Kudus and Carlos Soler will be free to roam from their positions in search of pockets of space to create chances with either neat, intricate passing, or, in Kudus' case, direct runs at pace at the Chelsea backline.
New loan signing Evan Ferguson does not feature in the matchday squad after he was unveiled earlier on transfer deadline day, and you can see all the done deals here.

CHELSEA TEAM ANALYSIS
Enzo Maresca plumps for his usual 4-2-3-1 shape, but there is a change straight off the bat as he fields Filip Jorgensen in net, over Robert Sanchez, who has made some mistakes in recent weeks.
Ahead of the Dane, Reece James continues at right-back, with Marc Cucurella on the opposite side, while Tosin Adarabioyo and Levi Colwill are the centre-backs.
In midfield, it's the big-money duo of Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez, with the talismanic Cole Palmer ahead of them in the number 10 hole, with licence to maraud and roam as he pleases.
Out wide, Jadon Sancho is on the left, with Noni Madueke on the right, with both looking to cut inside onto their stronger feet, allowing James and Cucurella to get around them on the overlap.
Up top, Nicolas Jackson is the lone ranger, seeking to his nine Premier League goals this term.
